Not sure on the boat, but on the trailer, just take it to a truckstop & get it weighed. Take that to the DMV.

I know I bought a boat and trailer from a friend who bought it from someone else that had it for at least 4-5 years without registering it and when I went to get trailer registered I just told them it was homemade and gave them the aprox. weight and it worked.   I ended up selling trailer several years later and never had any problems.  Now, the boat you found is a whole nother story, I'm not sure your gonna get that registered unless you get a bill of sale from the last owner.  If you take the I.D. # off the boat and take it to the tag office they might tell you who the last owner was just make sure you tell them you found the boat abandoned in the woods.  Good luck

Only has to be registered if you put any kind of motor on it (even trolling motors). Call FWC and tell them you need a vessel inspection and an officer will come out and inspect the boat (make sure it's not stolen) and give you all you need to go to DMV and register it.

Call 1-888-494-FWCC (3922) to get you local FWC office.
