It's time to bring back the military draft!

I joined the Marines and I'm in 12th grade, I leave for boot camp on June 4th.  Currently I'm very enthusiastic and I'm ready to get out of here and see some things and do some growing up. 
As for the draft, if it's needed, then it's needed, there's nothing to argue about.  If you're that scared of helping defend the country a bit, then run off to Canada and stay there.

Did I ever say that I didnot support the war? Once in my post did I ever say I didnot support the war? NO. I clearly stated that I donot support the draft for several reasons. Everybody that signs up for the military and everyone that is curretly deployed in Iraq is there by their own will. They signed up to fight for our country so that people like me have a good opportunity to be sucessful in life. They also give us the right to be talking about this right here. As far as the spinless liberal thing, I didnot say that you were a spinless liberal. I said the congress was. Even quite a few republicans. Thats the main reason we lost the house and senate. So you might want to check what your reading. I respect your oppinion and thats why i didnot revert to name calling to anyone here. TRX, I didnot mean to get you into a tantrum. I was just saying you make these baseless, non backed up comments with no factual reason. I am sorry you want to spank me and send me into war. I hope your 2 like your profile says. I would hate to see a adult talk to a 15yr old like that....

I agree with you there.  There are people that just don't like the idea of joining the military, and there's nothing wrong with that, it's a personality thing or whatever.  I'm not to crazy about going to college, but I'll end up with my degree eventually, it's just one of those things.

When enough people that want to be there join, and it saves the non-joiners the trouble with the draft, then that's the win-win situation.  But if there comes a time for the draft, what can I tell you, I'm not in control of how many people join the military or which wars we fight.  Hopefully there won't be a draft so that everyone can continue with the lives they want to live.

well, im not all excited about being forced to go to fight but i will if they need me to. i kinda agree with mad mudder about not wanting to go and possibly die at the age of 18. thats not my idea of fun. however, killing towelheads sounds like fun. 

as for the liberals killing everything bush does, its true. if bush tried to kill himself, they would not let him. if he tried to get rid of guns, they would try to keep them. they are just stubborn losers that want to fight like girls all the time. they dont give a crap about the wellfare of the country. all they care about is themselves and their kids. they are girly men. scared of a fight. they hear about killing or bloodshed and run and hide.

So I see how you voted, when you say "we" lost the house & senate. How long have you & other 15 yr. olds been voting ? With the attitude you have , you better HOPE & PRAY that there a lot of Toomey's out there because when your'e my age (46) this country is gonna be in very bad shape !!!

No, the problem is NOBODY teaches  kids respect or discipline. There are WAY too many deadbeat sorry ass men out there that breed them and leave them. So there is no man in the kids life to teach them. When I was growing up you still got your ass beat at school so if you didnt learn how to obey the rules at home at least they could discipline kids at school.

I spend quite a bit of time with Chillin and his family. Trust me, he knows how to properly discipline and raise his kids and his kids are awesome because of it.

 Once again, I didnot say I voted. I said that in meaning that I support the republican party and if I could vote I would. Why do you guys misconshrew my words? Do you think im a kid and wont notice. Everyone here seems to agree that I should go join up... So why didnt you? Its because the military isnt for everyone. I did , I've been serving over 18 years, I've missed countless birthdays , wedding ann, xmas and other holiday's, and currently serving oversea's at this time. Stop crying and grow up
