What do you think of the new look, i painted the red hood white to match the rest of the bike, the paint still needs to cure so i didn't put the yamaha emblem back on.

nice, I hit up the medowlands alot, right now its a frozen swamp, about an inch of ice and then 2 feet of mud underneath. Me and my buddys get the bikes loaded up and take the trip out to Paragon Ap park in PA alot, thats the best riding ive ever seen and well worth the 2 hour drive.  If you remember where jungle habitat was they are turning that into a atv park called extreme habitat but i won't be around for that, its still a while off. other then that the pickings are slim, and cops are getting worse, so there is really NO legal place to ride in jersey except for chatwroth, a horrible 200 acre atv park that charges $50 to get in.

I have some pictures of me very young (i'm guessing around 1975 was the year) at Jungle Habitat somepalce...I remember the place tho...and going to it and driving among all the animals...i just did a google search on the place, it's demise was very very odd...simply abandoned and the animals let loose.
like I said, I totally forgot it even existed until you said it.

yeah, its been a place to go explore when your feeling adventerous, its all run down now, just woods and concrete, the animal buildings are still there, its one fo the NJ local "weird" spots, check out www.weirdNj.com and they have pictures of it.

Well what i did was follow the directions on the can, krylon fusion is made for plastic and it bonds to it after 7 days.  The hood wasn't scratched up or old so i used some paint thinner and wiped it on with a rag.  Let that dry and then start spraying, i did like 50 coats on the front and 30 on the back.  Then you have to let it sit for 7 days to cure properly, for those pictures i just stuck it on there really quick, its in my living room right now curing.  For older plastics some wetsanding and a wipe down with an amonia based cleaner will do the trick.  You just have to wait for the full 7 days.

Give it time to dry, that paint needs 7 days to cure, so next week i sould have good full bike shots.  Throw in a 12 pack of bud ice and you got yourself a painted bike.

The fenders look great , I grew to like my fenders very quickly ..

Rattle can krylon fusion for plastic, so far i went through 1 can and started on the 2nd midway through the headlights, not to bad for 10 bucks in paint and some (too much) time.
