Would a 3+5 offset be too wide on the rear with a +4 axle?

the 9 inch rear wheel with 18 inch tires is starting to see some popularity also. I am fairly certain it is becasue of the stiffer sidewall (think low profile tires) If you have a plus 4 axle i would stick with a stock offset (3+5) If your an mxer with a shorter axle the 3+6 offset will get you an extra 2 inches in the back. up front a lot of people like the 4+1 offset because it puts the ball joint right on the midline of the tire which help to reduce feedback. If you go this offset I thnk you would run 2.5 or 3 inch a-arms (im an xc guy so dont quote me on that)

I have a +4 axle, and +2 a-arms, so I guess 3+2 up front and a 3+5 rear? would that make me go over the 50 " regulation? Also what size should I go with the front?

Yeah, im not sure if they are +2 or 2.5, I called lsr and they told me to measure the tie rod itsself, if it was 12 1/2 then it was their +2 a-arms. So I just went by what they said.

Ok, now this is becoming more a pain in the butt lol Called lsr earlier and they told me if the tie rod its self was 12 1/2 inches, then i have +2's, If the tie rods are 13 1/2 then i have +3's. I measured it with a straight edge, and couldnt fit it all the way in but it looked like it went to 12 1/2. My dad just measured it with a tape measurer and it came out to 14 1/2 exact. what the heck is going on? Also measured the quad from outside of the front tire to the other and got 48.5, ANyone know stock lenght?

yea if your 49 inch than go with the 4+1 offset.
the 3+2 is like .5 inches wider each side.
I think
