Ok ladies the next to last Southern Flat Track League points race is in Valdosta about 25 miles north of the Jasper track. Expect alot of grip if you suffer from traction issues but not the tire wear we have at Jasper. Plus Valdosta is a "D" shaped oval so it is extremely fast and there can be alot of passing (which is why Scott doesn't want to race there
...lol sorry Scott but I couldn't resist!) Also free camping like Jasper and Cracker Barrell is one exit away for those who catch breakfast Sunday morning. Hope all of you can make it.
P.S. I am working on the schedule for next season. If any of you have a track you would like to see the SFTL visit send me the info and I will follow up. Tracks currently under consideration include: Dirt Devil Speedway in Land O'Lakes, Speedway Park in Fruitland Park, Pineora Speedway in Savannah, Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro Ga., and Volusia Speedway Park in Barbersville. Did I miss any? Send me the info! Remember the 2007 series will be one points race per month and will include a Vet class for 35+ and kicks off in January.

* Class sizes will be decided based on turnout. Heats are qualifiers for the Mains, 4 quads per heat. Starting position in the heats is assigned by drawing numbers. After two heats, top 2 points finishers advance to their A main, bottom two points finishers go to B Main. B main race runs first and the winner (LCQ) then advances to race in the A Main. In the event of a points tie, tie breaker goes to the rider who scored better in their 2nd heat. Lineup position for Mains is awarded by points from heats, ie., highest points gets gate pick.
* Trophies or plaques will be awarded.
