I know this may sound weird but... should an 06 honda rancher 350cc 2 wheel drive have a cooling fan.  i was told by my dealer that it was oil cooled but im not convinced.  any help would be nice

should I take it back and have them install it?  There was also another rancher 350 that did not have a fan.  Thanks in advance for any help

I HAVE A 06 4X4 RANCHER AND IT HAS A FAN BUT MY BUDDY HAS A 06 2WD AND IT DOES NOT A FAN

both our 05s have fans (one 2x4 and one 4x4). so does our recon.

i have two 06 ranchers one is a es and one is a manual shift . the es has a cooling fan and the manual shift dosen't

The 2WD non-ES doesn't have a fan IIRC. All the others should have fans. The engines are cold-blooded anyway, my fan turned on yesterday for the first time in months, wasn't even very hot compared to my pop's arctic cat 500.

We have three 05 Rancher 2 wheel drives and they all have fans with their oil cooler. So I would take it back and see that you get one.

my 2wd es has a fan. i remember seeing somewhere the foot shift 2wd doesnt have a fan. go on hondas website and go into specs to, it should say if it is supp. to have on or not.

contacted the honda company in california and they told me that on a 06 350 rancher 2x4 that the cooling fan is optional not standard... go figure.  Thanks for all the help.
