I've noticed an influx of opinions on what "can be said" and what "can not be said" in this forum.

Most recently, I've discovered posts of someone complaining about another member mentioning dirt bikes in a post.  I've also discovered another member mentioning that a member shouldn't have asked for legal advise on a VIN number related post.  (I can understand the River Ranch issue, but the rest of this seems anti american)

What gives?   I thought this was an open forum for ideas of all sorts, including but not limited to ATV's and ATV related topics.

When did we become such speech Nazis?

I for one enjoy the banter about a wide variety of topics.  I thought that was the whole point of being in America, free speech in open forums.

Is anyone with me on this?

If you are talking about me saying that he should not have asked about legal advise on here. Well here is my quote.

Seems like you did not need any help from this website after all, since it seems you have already talked to a lawyer and decided what you were gonna do. The moral thing to do would be give them the money back because you made a mistake by not looking at the vin when you purchased the quad. I think they will and hope they win this one. Its what is do to them. You should have checked the vin on the quad. Final answer.

I said that if he has already talked to a lawyer and already made a decision on what he is gonna do, then it seems like he did not need any help from us on here. It would have been a great question but if your not gonna take any advise and just keep replying with your own answers then what has this sites members done. Almost after every reply, he comes on and says he has already talked to a lawyer and gonna take it to court. Why ask the question if you already have the answers.

The so-called Speech Nazis have the same rights as you do to express their opinions. So, don't expect your freedom of speech to exclude you from being called-to-task for the opinion you feel so compelled to spew.

He's got a very good point there, you should probably ban him from every speaking again so he doesn't mess up your ideaology.

I find it so funny how Uncle Rico responds to his alter ego, Captain the Morgan.  Thank goodness they get along.  However, I would like to see an online cage match between the two.  Maybe I will start some rumors about how Uncle Rico is talking smack about the Captain.  Should be interesting.
