Hopefully PBSO_ATV_DEPUTY will read this. I am making a statment in reguards to illegal ATVing which is occouring in Loxahatchee on North Road in between D Road and B road. These kids are the reason we will not get to enjoy the new law here in PBC. They speed down the road on blasters and raptors with no protection what so ever in complete disreguard for any safety at all. I dont want to phone in a 'complaint' to the sheriff's office because then it would be just another complaint against our community. Maybe the sheriff's who monitor the forums here will pick up on this and deal with these kids and even more importantly the parents.

Yes I am. Or could ride down there and call the cops from my cell and wait for them to arrive and demand that that be issued citations just like I was written when I was riding illegally. That would be selfish, I will let the police take care of these kids when they have time. Remember they ride on weekends and after school Cheesy  !!

Whats even funnier is all these kids know who I am and they know my little brother.

I dont care, they are all unsafe.

Well said. I hope your right and the local law enforcement views this site and takes action. I'm sure the majority of these kids parents probably think their kids are riding somewhere safe and with all of the gear the parents bought them. They probably have no clue their riding in the street. I can only hope they get caught red handed and not only ticketed but their bikes confiscated until their parents pay the required fines to get them back. That would at least teach some sort of lesson and possibly save a life in the future. Good for you Ford Forever, too bad more people aren't as concerned as you.

At least you are doing the right thing by putting it out there & hoping that he reads it & not calling the cops . . . The more calls they get the more likely the county will be to try to opt out . . . Everyone should try to be safe !

Why not PM him also to make sure he's aware of the situation?

Why don't you stop and talk to them?

I don't know if they would listen to you, but making them aware of the fact that it's not cool to be riding in the manner which they ride and in the place that they are riding may be the first place to start.

I'd always prefer a "heads up" if I was unwelcome at a certain riding spot, rather than having to deal with "the man".

Yea I could try talking to them but they just seem like a bunch of punks ya know? You get on to them about somthing and they drive twice as fast and take more chances just to be rebellious and then someone ven more likely to get hurt. Its not really my place to say though.

FordforEver - You are right you should not go talk to them, it might wind up bad if they are punks. What you might do is talk to the local sheriff about this problem, you don't have to file a report or give your name, you can approach it as I thought you would like to know, give the sheriff the information and then leave. If the sheriff office wants your name etc.. don't give it to them.

I rode a lot this weekend and I passed a lot of cops and no ATV's. I was wearing my helmet and following the rules, no need to hassle me. They may have taken care of the kids and we can only hope they did so in time.
