C. Jumping the Start- Any rider who starts before the green light is on will be moved to the penalty line or one row back and will be positioned directly behind a front row machine. That riders previous position will not be filled. If the rider false starts a second time, he must start a row behind the penalty row. For the third offense, the rider will be black flagged from the heat/main and scored in the last position. The decision of the officials is final. 

D. Equipment Failure/ Possum Starts (Delay of Race)-Any rider that causes a delay in the racing due to an equipment failure or stalled machine will be moved to the penalty row on the restart. Possum Starts (protests): Any rider who fails to start the race after the green light is on, because they chose to force a restart, will be moved to the penalty row for the restart. It is the job of the officials to determine when a restart is needed, not the riders. The decision of the officials is final.

At JASPER in the main on the 1st start i stalled on the line (a genuine stall, no possum) and i just kicked the bike over and took off but they stopped for a restart. in the second start i thought i jumped the start but looking at the the video later i was right on the money so we did a 3rd start.

i like the rule even if it hurts me from time to time

I have seen places without gates or tapes at the start make whoever jumps the line start facing backwards  I think the rules you guys have setup are pretty fair in comparison.

   Glad you guys support the change. I hoped it wouldn't ever be needed but as the bar of competition goes up the rules have to be specific to get rid of gray areas. We all realize stalled bikes will happen but hopefully now that everyone knows the rule, it will eliminate the thought of doing it on purpose. These change should help speed up the racing program since one of the biggest complaints is the late nights.

lol he knows I'm just joking..I hope and I pick on Jody the same. I bought him a remote drag shee and told him since the one in the garage would never get finished atleast he could still race. He didn't think it was too funny.

 Anyway, @ hazelhurst, the chain broke once, and I was not going to be STUPID
enough to run it again and chance breaking my cases!! And it didnt "sting" any more than you running and blowing the top end up    AGAIN
