TRX 450r vs YFZ 450 Which is faster?

If you owned that issue of dirtwheels you would know that whole article is B/S... Both of those bike were reworked, they even say it in the article (motor work). Notice how at the bottom it says STOCK YFZ, and STOCK TRX... Is 0.6 MPH really that big of a difference now, come on.

That does it, I'm selling my YFZ and buying a Honda. I didnt know that they were .6 mph faster.

well they didnt mess up that bad. there are three timing marks  on the flywheel. 1-1 1 you are supposed to use the last 1 they said to use the 1st one. not that big of a deal just timing will be off a tad.

LOL! Yeah, no, the Yamaha's are fast bikes, just look at this years points standings.  I think they actually give out ribbons for 7th and 9th place.  2 in the top 10, they must really haul!

By the way Mr. LT-R.......Um how many recalls does Suzsucki have for it?  I no for sure that they have ALOT......Frame,tranny whinning,wont start up if you stall it if ridden hard,etc...the list goes on & on & on & on....

I love my Honda ,statistics dont lie but then again riders have something to do with whos in the winner circle.I cant believe everything in dirt wheels ,one artical says yfz the best next says 450r the next says the lt450 .I think its who ever cuts them the biggest check before the next artical comes out !LOL!!

Assuming you're talking top speed.  If you go by the Dirtwheels test at the top of this page, the 450r is  .6 mph faster stock,  1.5 mph built. So either stock or built, the 450r is faster.  In a race, yea it matters who the rider is.  But thats of no concern to find out which bike is faster.
