Machinedog, Make sure you use all marine equipment including the remote, Mine is mounted right next to my thumb throttle. Also something I learned make sure your speakers are not like mine facing up, they collect mud, dust, and rain. so if you have no other choice like I didn't you have to make up some type of covers. As far as the cd player ground it to the bike, follow it down to were the manufacture grounds the battery to the frame or thereabouts, and of couse power to the battery red. I put a toggle switch on mine after going through one dead battery sometimes you think it's off and it's not. The cd player will only play sitting still but the radio will play while riding so will ipod or mp3. Also get a marine antenna. WOrks great every one loves it! Let me know if you need specifics

I pick up my 03 650 V2 Prairie on Saturday.  Once I get it, I will get some pics.  Its a stock bike right now but plan to snorkle it, add a HL lift and some mud tires and rims.
