ocala trail loop help

this may be a dumb question but... how do I get to the new trail system from big scrub? im coming from tampa. And do all the loops intersect so you can jump on different ones.
thats what I liked most about ocala was the exploring, wont be to bad if all the trails intersect. I have not been there since the changes.
so is big scrub area riding done for now?

I would not go to big scrub to get to the trail system. I would take I75 to HWY 40, go east through Ocala, cross the BIG bridge and go north on HWy 314. Take it to Salt Springs, about 20 miles. Go north on Hwy 19. Then either turn left to lake delancy campground or keep going until just before next BIG bridge. Turn left, sign says Rodman campground, go past campground all the way to end of road. You will be at the Rodman pit and the northern entrance to the Trail system.

Presently, no closure at Big Scrub, However, that is not where the Trail System is. The Trail System is in the northern part of the forest, not the southern. Yes, you can access all the trails from the Rodman dam, as they are all interconnected. However, the ride will be starting about 6 miles south of Rodman on FR 88 The Rodman trailhead is about 1/2 hr north of FR573 an HWY 19.

I am one of the Ohv trail rangers so I have rode the two trails that the sport ride will be using for the sept 30th ride. The trails we will be riding have aprox 20% whoops 80% smooth.

I'm trying to get an injection before that so I'm hoping for the best. The hard part will be the drive up, 2-3 hrs sitting in a truck is a real killer for my back but once I get out and start moving around it will loosen up a bit. All that being said I still could not take 20 miles of whoops but whoops off and on will be alright.
After rereading the post I think I got some post mixed up and I posted on the wrong one. Thankfully you guys figured it out, my bad. Thanks

I can't stand whoops myself,,,,I'll let you ride the Rubicon during the whoops so you can feel what a smooth ride is supposed to be like ;-)
