Just read that Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter, died this morning.  He was stuck in the heart by a stingray barb.  Of all the sh*t that guy has done, all the huge crocs and poisonous snakes, he dies in a freak accident while scuba diving.  God Bless him and his family.

A true Crocodile Hunter!!!. My heart goes out to his family...

But it was not just a scuba diving accident. he was filming and new movie called (Ocean's Deadliest).
And marine animals are just as dangerous as land animal...I even think more so because of the water enviroment, they have the upper hand to start with....

I heard it was a STINGRAY BARB that got him right in the heart, talk about a freak accident.

He was a national hero in Austrailia.

Terrible loss.

You would think that Steve would die more likely from a crocodile attack... He wrestles with 15-foot plus crocs and gators yet a stingray got him right were it counts, in the heart. My prayers for him and his family and GOD Bless.

Yes it really stinks, he seemed to be such a person whom loved life to the fulliest, I feel what you saw on TV is what you got, he was the real thing.  I really feel for his family and close friends. I am going to miss his voice, he had one of the voices that you knew him as soon as you heard him.

My prayers trully go out to the family, friends and fans.  It was sincerly a great lost.  Like previously stated, was a very freaky accident who would think he would go out that way.  I was reading an article, where Irwin had said, if he would ever be killed it would be in the ocean, cause he truly didn't feel that he was in his element in the ocean.  How tragic that his words would come to pass.

They say it was video taped when he was killed, I pray for the family and friends sake that video never gets released, that would be horrible to see.  They say that when he was hit by the barb, he actually pulled it out of his chest and then died.  How sad, I just hope his family will be okay.

Its amazing when you think about it. In the last 10 years, only like 7 people have died from a stingray. 10people get killed by gators in 1 year in Florida alone. If they would have said that he been killed by 20 foot alligator then it wouldnt have been as shocking. But a stingray? Thats awful. Anyway, its a horrible loss and he will be missed by allot of people.

Steve  Irwen did so much for the animal world thru his passion and love for all creatures it's sad that he passed away trying to educate the rest of us how important each and every species is to the world around us . In the end a final lesson of how fragile our own lives are and how we need to live life to its fullest becouse we don't know when it all may end.GOD BLESS HIM AND HIS FAMILY THAT HE LEFT BEHIND
