hey does any one else follow NHRA? If so you know that this weekend is the U.S. Nationals, and i plan on being there! I will make sure to post some pics when I come back for all you other NHRA fans, well I leave tomorrow morning so maybe somebody will see me on the tube or something!

I dont watch it all the time, but if im flipping channels I stop to watch it.

I think they come on espn the next day after the races are held or at least sat and sunday @ about 7:30 I know they are on seeing my dad is always watching them.

We pretty much follow it, my husband more so than I. He used to drag race alot, so he is really into it. Years ago we went to the Gator Nationals and we had a blast. I think it is really cool that you can walk all around the pits and stuff.

yea we went to the gators 3 or 4 years ago and it was awesome. we have been 2 times. the only problem is it is on the orlando sx weekend so we have been goin to that recently.

So is Ashley. I haven't watched it much this season. Went to the Gator Nationals 2 years ago. What an experience, the sound produced by the top fuel Funny Cars/Dragsters is incredible. |

I used to go to every event in the area way back when, I was on the racing team for Blue Thunder drag rail in super comp. Same year that Kenny Bernstien Broke the 300 MPH record. Started collecting NHRA trading cards that came out in the late 80's and early 90's. I have a bunch of them signed by the drivers.

left the campground tonight and I'm missing the finals that are tomorrow, but i did get to see lots of cars and the campground was amazing, i fly home on tuesday and hope to see pics tuesday night or wenesday night, took lots of great pics but unable to put on the comp tonight, so sorry about that get pics of the prostock bikes took lots just for you I think they come on espn the next day after the races are held or at least sat and sunday @ about 7:30 I know they are on seeing my dad is always watching them.
and todays races started at 11:00 pm sept 3 and are still on now on espn 2, plan on watchin the finals 2morrow nite |

okay, just to explain the last couple of pics, pics 1-3 is some of the Ronnie Sox tribute, pics 4-20, 30, and 83 are the top alcohol funny cars and the top alcohol dragsters, pics 21-29,31-36 are the promod cars, pics 37-55 are prostock, the 56th pic is the flag flying in, 57-82, and 84-86 is prostock bikes
