Image resizer

This is driving me nuts.
Some of ya'll are posting pix that just suck up way too much screen space...ie..way too big to fit onto some screens..(i'm at 1600x1200 and some pix i still have to scroll the screen)...this not good thing..makes for a quick back click to look for another post.
Microsoft makes this nifty little 'power toy' for Windows XP that will let u select 1, or multiple images and u simply right click and hit 'resize images' and viola' instant resize. (640x480 seems to work well for the forums).
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe
hope this helps some..

sure it's a better picture...but a 1280x1024 image on a 1024x768 screen is too large, and the images don't auto resize themselves on the forums.....at home i run 1600x1200
(21" monitor so it's not an issue there)
and i'm willing to bet you the numbers of folks running 1280x1024, are pretty low, it's just not that common of a rez a 'normal user' would be using.

Did you go to advanced and select custom then you can select even smaller you only have to change the first number the second number doesnt matter

Make sure there is no parenthesis in the title and it's always better to shorten the name of the file if it's a long one.

You can do the same thing by using MS paint. Just right click on the photo and choose "open with MS paint". Then go into "image", then select "stretch/skew" type in the percentage you want of the original photo in the Horizontal and Vertical windows, then save it as a different name.....Done!

are you leaving (small) in your pic name? if so you have to remove it first then try posting again.
