I think he is going to try and pull off the double backflip. I saw it in slow motion in a Sports Illistrated my son gets for kids. 2 complete revolutions and still lives.

Pastrana just did a awsome backflip and he was extened INFRONT of the bars. He got a 91.20...rd Place...Thats a bunch of bull S*** Im telling you its all set-up

went to a sports bar with some friends tonight. when i walk in i instantly told the manager to put on x games at our table. so he does, everyone around me was like 'dude what are you watching?' after a brief explanation everybody was up to speed including all the people sitting around me that overheard me, they all got into it. when it was TP last run i told everybody he was going to attempt the double back flip and win, they looked at me like 'your kidding right?'. sure enough TP lands it! all these people freaked out!!! i have to say that was the most awesome aerial display on a motorcycle ever, i would love to see who or what trick will top that.

Just when I thought freestyle was played out, and that it couldn't get any more exciting, TP comes up with this insanity. I just can't imagine the BALLZ that it takes to even attempt something like that, let alone land it? That was awesome! >:(I'm going to rent a welder and rip the sheet metal off my neighbors shed to build a kicker ramp today. |

Finally gave up on your Yamy? im still a die hard honda fan. duhamel, zemke, millsaps, short, all the factory honda riders. i just got a yamaha 4wheeler. no big deal. i still have honda ridin gear. lol. ill eventually go back to honda. in a couple of years. when the yami is outdated. we still have 5 hondas. |

ok travis pulled off a double backflip, won the rally (9 stages of brutal driving), put 2 of the best freestyle runs ive ever seen (1 in prelims and 1 in the main thing) then trips and falls and cant ride any more. that is screwed up. he can do anything he wants to on a bike or in a car but he cant walk. anyway congrats to pastrana. he did an excellent job. way to go.
i think this was the best x-games i ever seen. all the stuff was awesome.
