i like tha alba kit. i already have the dyno jet kit (not installed) and k&n and outerwear, and pro design intake however. their full exhaust is 360 w/out the intake kit. that is definately soundin good compared to wb and yoshi (lookin at like 600 to 750 for them).

any other suggestions.

im leanin heavily toward alba though.

any other input on alba would be appreciated. good or bad. i wanna know if they are really good or not.

I am running the white brothers "E" series II. Nice piece, not ballistically loud, great performance top to bottom.

the average exhaust system with proper jetting on a stock yfz engine will increase it 'about' 5-9hp. the difference between the exhausts is how much and where in the powerband they make the power. there is also personal preference, 'keeping up with the jones', db levels,PRICE, tunable(will it still work once i modify my engine), etc.... at the national level KORY ELLIS runs the same exact alba system, only with his name on it!!!!

well im not worried bout the noise. as far as im concerned the louder the better.
i would like more bottom end over top end. i dont need to go 100 mph. i just wanna get to the top speed quick.
i want as much hp gain as possible.
im not concerned too much bout $.
the tunable thing would be good.
i am not planning on customizing the engine soon but if i ever need a rebiuld atp is gonna make it fast!
and i dont quite get the 'keeping up with the jones' thing???

if i dont hear anything bad bout alba that is what im gonna get i think.

Have you ever rode with one?
If your saying that on looks then you have a very bad judgement on picking accessories lol.

Nobody mentioned Rossier....

Rossier Engineering is the best pipe out there IMO. For the TRX450R, YFZ and the LT-R. He makes great pipes hands down. You can even put an interchangable quiet end on it to be used for FTR and Dade City events without loosing any power.

The TC pipe sucks IMO. There was one on my YFZ when I got it and it was the first thing to go! It is all bottom end and nothin else! Not to mention it sounds like crap.

I, too, can't make up my mind for the pipe I want to buy for my '06!! Too many to choose from and it seems like someone has something bad to say about each one!!  UGH!

I want one that gives a lot of power (lol, the reason we buy pipes) throughout with more on top end, without breaking the bank.

Also, what do the headpipes add in power, 1HP or so, if any?

I have the Yosh Ti syetem and love it. It makes great HP from low end to top end on the dyno. The down side to the Yosh is the cost. I have been on the dyno with several YFZ's with differant pipes and engine set ups. If I were riding flat track I would have to go with a Ron Woods because of the increase in mid to top end power, I have not found another pipe to beat Rons pipe for overall power on the dyno. But for everyday riding the any pipe will due as long as the carb is jetted properly. I have installed 7 Alba pipes on the Yamahas and they are great for the price. Thats just my 2 pennies.
