beriks suck. freind had some and in 2 rides the whole sole ripped off. and for the money they dont look that good.

lots of people like alpinestars but i tore mine up bad. the boots that have lasted me the longest were my thore quadtrants. 2 years and not a single problem. Cool

your friend might have got a cheaper more low end pair then. cause my brothers got the beriks and they look awsome and have held up really good.

boots -FOX  FORMA PRO(james stewart in black) paid $250 and is most comfortable boot i have worn to date.

gear-FOX,THOR,O'NEAL- are the brands i use.

when you buy new gear, there is also 'vented'(hot weather) and 'non-vented'(cooler weather) types.

Thors lasted me a week before the sole ripped out. Tech 10's are awsome once they're broken in. Most comfortable boot I've owned, I've had Thor quadrants, Fox forma pros, and Tech 8's before my tech 10's. The tech 8's were also great boots but got wrecked in a crash.

OK thanks for the INFO on the BOOTS

Whats the best Helmet?

Any of the top brands offer awsome protection. Most comfortable helmet I've had is my new one, thor carbon. But any of the well known brands are good, HJC, Shoei, TLD, One Ind, Arai, etc.....
