rick todd in bartow is a very experienced engine porter. he does incredible work at really good prices. he mostly builds 250rs and banshees. i've seen his motors run laps around other motors, that have been bored out. just for example, i've seen one of his 250rs with only a port job, outrun a 310r powervalve from esr. give him a call 863-533-0747

i would have frank in brandon do it.
he did my banshee and richies banshee from r&r performance.
frank is from ca. and has been porting and doing other little things that a lot of locals dont know about.
hes old school when there was only 2 strokes around. none of this 4 stroke stuff.
better hurry if you want him to do it cause hes packing it up and heading back to ca. or wa state.

frank hofman, from engine dynamics, is a professional engine builder/rider. he got out a photo album with pictures of so many different national and world champions who race his motors. there were also several articles from dirt wheels, dirt rider, and other racing magazines, in his album, articles that were about him and his motors.he lives in brandon and offers a port and polish job for $300 per cylinder.he said it only takes him about 24hrs. to do one.his number is 813-654-6509.
Like YAMADOOSKI said this guy is headed back to Calif. in a month. If you want work done by him, you better call him now.

Frank has got my cylinder and head now. Can't wait to get it back and get it installed, so I can unleash the beast.

Got the R back together, and took it for a test. All I can say is WOW! What a difference a port and polish makes. I was expecting it to be faster but I never dreamed it would be like riding an entirely new machine. This thing flies, and I don't even have the right jets in yet. Good job Frank, best $300 I've ever spent.
