I am looking to pick up a Utility Vehicle, about a yr or so from now... When i get more $$, BUT i do not know who makes the best ones..

the companies i know of so far are :

Polaris ( Ranger )
Yamaha ( Rhino )
Suzuki ( Q.U.V )
Kawasaki ( Mule )

I would go with the 4x4 option, for those " just in case " situations..

I would be looking to spend NO MORE then $10,000 on it..

I like the Polaris Ranger due to the fact of large gas tank and it does not use steel racks, yet they utilize the plastic, so no need to worry about rust...

But i also like the Kawasaki Mule, due to the fact you can get it in 2 passanger or 4 passanger models.. Dont think i would ever opt for the 4 passanger, but maybe it will provide more storage space..

Please leave me input if you all could..

THANKS,
Tony

I may even be interested in buying a used one, if the price is right when the time comes..

I've seen the ranger's and rhino's going at hill after hill and they each climb like a monkey. Great machines. The mule and the zuke are the same thing . Like the kfx and z400.

Rhino will have the best top speed, accleration and there are tons of accessories for them. If you buy a standard green one you should be able to get it out the door for close to $10K.

With gas prices i have decided to maybe get a Honda Dirt Bike that is street legal.. I cannot remember the exact model, but i have wanted to get a bike, and figure i can use this for both street use and off road use..

What does everyone think of this ?!?! I know it would not be 4 WD, but hey it would be DUAL purpose..

Thanks,
Tony

if you are still considering the utility vehicle tractor supply co has one powered by honda. i dont no who makes the other parts though or how much they are or if they are very durable (the motor should be but dont no bout the rest). you could look into them though. i no a guy that bought one and he said it was good and he liked it but i never saw it in action.
if you go with the enduro those are pretty cool too.
happy hunting for whatever you get. Wink

well i figure i've already got my ATV so its not a necessity.. and i wanted to get an Enduro bike anyhow..

Maybe that would be a better choice now with gas prices as high as they are..

yea they do get really good mileage. the dr 250 gets like 60 or 70 according to them. its a suzuki though. the honda endoros are really nice. i have a xr200 its kinda like it but its not street legal. the xr250 is the littlest legal one. the 200 has been a great bike though. i no several people with them that love them.

Goodluck with what ever you choose, we are not the ones that will be riding it. Ultimately you have to enjoy the machine.

I am looking at either Honda or Suzuki's, since the Yamaha at MOST is a 250 cc..

I am looking at the Suzuki V-Storm 650, it looks like a nice bike for the $$, but it doesnt look like a Dual Purpose like they claim..

My options are still open,

Thanks,
Tony
