Sorry guys, My GPS was really wacky. It said that my max speed on the way to Big Bass was 175mph, Thats pulling a 20ft enclosed  Grin. Needless to say, I didn't take a pic of the Rappy's top speed.
Bottom line is that I know mine will hit 100mph. It has been ATP'd for christ sake  Cheesy
I'll have to show you after I get my GPS looked at.

people who say it wont must have never seen it before...

So if a bike looks good then it automaticaly hits 100 mp???
My stock cannondale would do 79.2 mph and I never lost a drag to a stock raptor,so 90 mph stock isnt happening. We just bought a raptor and I smoked it so bad with my predator that I actualy felt sorry for the person running the rappie. So again I dont see a stock craptor doing 90 mph.Point is almost evryone and there brother says there bikes do 100 and not many of them do.They all feel like they are running 100 when your on them but they arn't.Now im not saying it cant happen
because my friend has a turbo raptor and a stage 3 ds650 and we know what they hit.So with all that said it is possible for mtg;s bike to be doing 100.

i agree w u but like u say your buddies raptor has a turbo and the ds has a stage 3 kit and they will hit it. wich means they sunk some money into then bikes. it all depends on what kind of mods you have. you can have the best mechanic in the world built your bike but if you dont pay the money for those after market parts theres nothing that mechanic can do for a bike they know how to install parts and tune bikes, wich has a lot to do w/ peformance but without those after market parts theres not much more they can do.

m0n5teR, You think your fast. before your start talk trash about other people rides. Let do this I will race you 100 yards in  my wife BLASTER. will beet your cannondale or if you really thing your fast we can race my RAPTOR with your  predator. I live right up the street and I have nothing to do today. i will load them onto the trailer and meet you behind homestead track. will have a place marked off 100 yards. I bring the radar gun and my friend will clock speed.SO LET GO!  Shocked

NO SHOW, just to show you you ever know who on the other side of the computer. and before you trash some ride. Beware there a lot of people out there love to play. Yes, speed is money and knowlege. who has the most to spend on there toys wins. pictures Raptor project 686.

Dang thats looks familiar. We are running exactly the same mods it looks like.

Fastest Production Quad was/is the LT500R Quadzilla @ 81mph stock!

A Quadzilla is faster and quicker than a raptor... The Quadzilla is a 500cc two stroke with close to 50hp stock, the raptor is a 660 4 stroke with about 38hp the Quadzilla is also lighter. I have also read to speeds and the average speed of the raptor is about 75+/- where the top speed of a Quadzilla on average is 80+/-. Hope that helps!

looks like the Raptor is about 50hp. I love 2 strokes but, its all low and med power. 4 strokes rule top end torque. Quadzilla is faster and quicker off the line, but 4 strokes will take it at 100 yards. do you have a Quadzilla ? never race one.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but a raptor tops at 76.89 in 5th gear with stock gearing.  Unless you've bumped the rev limiter or are running larger tires you can't argue physics.  Even with 22" tires it would only hit 84.53 top of 5th.

this makes a big difference.

when Mike W is well enough, I'm gonna bring my quad to him to get the rear carrier bearing replaced,,,,,then make some fast runs and really see where it stands up to with all these speed junkies.

Wow !! Look  Shocked at what I started. I have wheels for the front skies of my sled for the track but seems like it would be no contest.  Maybe with a banshee Huh Could you imagine what a snowmobile engine would do in a quad. Well polaris have them and many other makes but not the same. Rotary motors....Got to love them.

sorry bro but you're dead wrong about the price range on the Rappy.
I have an ATV shop so obviously I did it all at cost and no labor charge but someone walking off the street can have their Raptor running 100mph (give or take 5mph) with between $1000-$1200.
It's all in the port work, Of course the piston and cam accent the port work but with the right flow it will go.  Grin
