How about a 4x4? I have a BF 750  on stock tires it will run 71 mph. On the dirt it will stay on the side of any stock sport quad for the first 150 ft.

I saw a post that said get a street bike to race on the track. Well my family makes great money running sleds on the pavement for shows at drag strips. If we did the norm where would people say....What is that Huh....Was that a snowmobile in Florida?Huh Shocked How fast was that run Huh? Cool

I never said anything about racing, or getting a street bike to go racing.  I said that I have a street bike for when I want to ride on the street.  Thats not what my quad was built for.

SOMTHING AND YOU END UP WORKING ON IT ALL THE TIME AND THEN THE FUN IS GONE JUST TO PROVE YOUR THE FASTEST. I USE TO DRAG RACE MUSTANGS, AND  STILL LOVE TO GO FAST BUT YOU HAVE TO ASK YOUR SELF HOW FAST AND HARD DO YOU WANT TO HIT THAT TREE? I UNDER STAND DIFFRENT STROKES (2 OR 4 HAHA) FOR DIFFRENT FOLKS.  Grin

My point is, if your going to get up on here and talk abot how fast it is, come on out and show us.  I probably have one of the slowest modded banshees, because I didn't spend my money in the right place.  Heck, it won't even pull the front tires off of the ground.  I would be lucky if it would run 50 mph, but I ain't scared of any 450, yes I said ANY 450.  There is my .02 cents.

But thats also the reason this section is called
"open Discussion". I love it that people don't believe me. I know for a fact what it will run(as do several other people on here) and thats all that matters to me.

next time you are able to come up to ONF we'll find a good straight clay road to run on and I'll bring my cameras.

Saltsdale will settle all the complaining.  And if you want to get serious, go up to GA with us in January.  They have a print out of your reaction time, time you run 300 ft, and your top speed.  Remember boyz, going down hill is the cheap way to say your quad is fast.

Chuck its a 450 thing with Smokin because there is a 450 that he has been trying to beat at the drags for about 6 months now, without any luck.

zilla954..... It was not your post that I had mentioned. I was not being negative just that there are places for doing things different than what they were designed for. Just like stunt riding street bikes at drag strips. Better there than on the street. Very impressive.
