I wasn't going to post on here anymore because of the bashing and the bull sh!t PM'S that I was getting from a member that was making up screen names and then deleting them so I couldn't respond to them. But what the heck! Im pretty thick skinned so I can handle it. Track wasn't hooking real good, Still got issues with the bike. Clutch not right,Pipe brackets keep breaking and tranny wont shift right. But no excuses, I dont know if it will run better or not. Banshee Boy says it will and I wont doubt him. He has always been right by me. If its there he will get it out. With that being said, Banshee Boy won the outlaw class on my bike. But in fairness to everyone else the track just wasn't hooking. The bikes were blowing the tires off all nite long. Purple bike ran 3 passes in a row Friday nite of 3.86's but only ran 1 pass Saturday in the 3.9's. And my bike ran 3.9's friday but couldn't run them saturday. So track record stands and will for awhile. But!! "I" did run consistant 4.1's and a personal best 4.08 with my old 205lb azz on the bike. So if nothing else I think I can hang in the heavy hitters class Cheesy Cheesy We will get this thing figured out soon so ya better get them scooters together soon.

sounds like it's getting there. I wonder if pipes on both sides is to much weight for the torque of the motor. even though you had some problems, seems like it was running pretty quick 4.08 not to shabby. Deffinately competitive in the heavy hitters class hell even in the regular class! What are you using for brackets, I've still got all the brackets we used for my pipes if you want to try  just have to modify them smaller seemed to be pretty strong. Tony kept breaking his but we never seemed to have a problem. whats wrong with the clutch Huh remember I had to change perch for more pull and adjust with special adjuster otherwise clutch wanted to drag and heat up and not shift, once I changed those it ran great. Just some suggestions Cool overall sounds like it's running pretty good just got to get the buggs out and I'm sure Tony will keep plugging away till it's worked out! Smiley

I think your right about the perch Mike. Bike wont leave in 2nd. Even with Tony on it. kinda like what Shawns was doing that time. If you leave in 1st its a real mofo to hang onto. But then it blows the tires off it. I checked the compression today and there is 20lbs difference in the cylinders. right side 180lbs left side 200lbs. Oh well, Thats just part of racing. Cheesy Cheesy Mike I told Shawn today to tell you to go get that frame from his dads shop. You can have it as long as your going to use it. If not I will pick it up. It would be something you put together and not cut yours up. Even with that you would be real competetive with your motor. That thing runs and we both know it. Lets get back on the same page, Its more fun Wink Its cool smoke! I didn't think it was you anyway. It was a blast, Once I made the first pass and the bike went straight and smooth, I knew I could ride the sh!t out of it. Cheesy Mike it rides so much different than before. To me any way. The swingarm made a big difference. It could also be a traction problem to now.

Yeah it was hookin good for me. But Banshee Boy's little lite butt was spinning. He needs a little weight gainer. Cheesy But then again our bikes might not have a chance against the big bike if he does that Cool Had a blast Alex. Its worth the drive. You and Charles do a outstanding job and I am one Fla guy who will continue to come back. See Ya in August, I hope!

I thought you picked that up a long time ago Huh Shawn said you had it sold. I'll get it this week and start tinkering, nothing that will be out next month but it would be nice to see what it would do with it and everything else light Cool  yeh I bet it does feel different the extra couple inches make a huge diff in going straight, hell of a lot better than when I was from one side of the track to the other. must be working too cause the times are getting down! compression problems not good Angry Huh hopefully it's in the domes like shawns and not the cylinder, pull the head and check the nickosil in that cylinder before you run anymore would suck to do a Chris Ware with it. Oh well got to go to work see ya!

it means that chris had a motor that the nikosil came off the cylinder walls and motor locked up and had to be completely rebuilt. that's all Grin

OK, I just had to check..... Ive heard all sorts of things since I left drag racing.. It seems storys get made up and the change quite a bit along the way.. but yet no one ask what the truth "really" is.
BTW, this is chris.. Wink IF Hard Rock ever opens Ill be back.... GA is just to far to go month after month.. I still have my 4mm cub... Im still making wheelie bars, the boys in the mid west and N.W. love them..

It didnt lock up, it just chewed the crap out of the cylinder, it pealed right above the left cylinder exhaust, I talked to a few PS sponsers and they said that if a cylinder is ported after the coating process its very easy to nick the plating, then the rings will grab it and just keep ripping it off. Plus i was told CP had a bunch of bad cylinders that went out.

I know of atleast one set of cylinders of about 10 that were bad and had to be sent back.....the piston was sticking in the cylinder on the ones i am talking about....

Your right there Smokie !!, But then again , thats a problems with the cubs and cheetas !!
I will say that I have always had, and always will have only one screen name, So with that said, It wasnt me either Pappa
Now on another note; sounds like it was running pretty good, a 4.08 is not bad at all, Hell I remember back in the Salts days that would have blown everyones socks off to go that fast !!!, especially with a heavier rider on it !! I only hope I can make those numbers brother Wink

Mike, It was supposed to come with the frame, but Cody had that at his place in La., and the frame was in Ok. Now Cody wont return my calls. So I ordered a different one.

But at any rate, we have a few tricks up our sleeves as well !! Shocked

Alright clowns, Papa just got a clean bill of health from the Doctor. First time in my life I have ever been that scared. But its all good now. Let the smack'th begin. Cheesy Mike just got new gauge and re-checked compression. Its good to go. Also We were running the jetting that the builder had told us to run. Way,way to fat. Blowing raw fuel out the pipes. Clutches look good, Going to go with some different springs and a different perch. Got to get the pipe brackets welded again!! Angry We will try to have it running a little better for august. Doesn't mean it will, But all we can do is try. Don!! Tricks are for kids you silly rabbit Cheesy Cheesy J/K Saw the pics of your bike. Real sweet bro. If looks were all that mattered you would own my azz as Troy would say. Wink But there is no dont in my mind its going to run. But trust me when I tell ya. 4.0's is a b!tch to hit, 3.9's is a mofo to acomplish, and 3.8's well, Good luck!!  Hope everyone can make it in August. Mike if ya want to go I might have a swing arm for ya. Let me know what your short of to get-r-up and running..
