The Valdosta track is actually smaller but it is banked and it's a D-shaped oval. Also, the clay is pure and the surface is very smooth so it seems much faster than Ocala. I personally like the banked tracks better because there is more corner speed and less wheel spin. One major key to having a great surface is having real clay mixed correctly. Talk with Dale at
www.ValdostaKartingComplex.com , he could probably tell you which consistency is best. As far as track size of flattrack, I would say no bigger than 1/4 mile and no smaller than 1/5.
