I was the first day I was there, but its hard to triple and then get set up for the big double right after it so I was just doubling it then geting enough speed for the big double. Next time im going to put both jumps together though.

no theres the triple then a burm right after it so u have to break hard, then out of the corner is the big double. its not that big but it takes a high 4th gear to clear for me.

well i dont ride a dirtbike but if you clear the triple you do have to slam on the breaks and you are still hitting the turn pretty fast but i dont think the double really had anything to do with it....if you hit the triple you are going to be taking the turn faster than if you only double it.... so i dont really see how tripling it would make it harder to double after the turn....oh well lol Hey Darren didn't you almost clear the double and the triple with a fried clutch?? Lol almost....wish i had realized the clutch was that bad before i tried it a few more times....

If you jump the triple u have to brake hard its more technical than your making it sound. And ive cleared both jumps to just not both back to back, but like I said next time im going to put both jumps together.

more technical? you land the triple then you have to brake and take the turn whether or not you are hitting the double. you are going to be coming out of the turn with the same speed regardless but maybe its more "technical" for you cool guys on dirtbikes

Ya maybe, but I was hiting the big double every lap and now just need to hit the triple befor it. the reason I think the big double is more easy is its a big straitaway after u land so u dont have to brake right away and risk fly over the berm and crashing. But if the triples so easy why didnt any of you hit it.

OMG Josh I'll make sure to have the medic handy! J/K Actually Darren did the triple I don't think I'll be hitting it too soon since I've only raced 4 times and been on a track about 6-7 times. But I'm hitting it before Josh. And I'll be on stock shocks and exhaust lol

Ive hit it to and I clear the big double no problem, its just that when I hit jumps I make sure to not clear them not almost clear them. I'm not going to go out and hit a jump I dont feel comfortable hiting every lap esspessially during practice. But I saw your video u ride good for a quad so I bealve u jump the triple.

The triples just alittle difficult atleast on a bike cause the same foot you use to pivot and turn with you have to break with. and when you clear the whole triple you have alot of speed going into the corner. for me clearing it isnt a problem but landing and braking in time smoothly is pretty hard.

Not that big its sorta alittle berm with acouple ruted out lines and really sandy. The track isnt that sandy but that corner seems to get pretty rough.

i guess you didnt notice the sig......ya i have both, i know that i relized the difference, but i will hand it to all the quad rides, its a ALOT of work! dirt bikes work u and you are constantly up and down on it, but remember, quads wieght more, and wear u like crazy! i wasnted really paying attention to what this thread was about but i saw the last post and thought i would comment

haha! ok time for my 2 cents.... Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Have you ever raced a quad on an MX track? Have you ever raced a dirtbike on an MX track? This thread was about jumping a double and a triple and I don't know if you realize it but dirtbikes have a much easier time accelerating up to a jump and getting a clean line. They can choose any line on a jump they want and it will send them fine. Quads have to choose where to launch from while trying to pick up enough speed to clear the jump....Please think before you post....

Yea Darren your 100% right With a Dirt Bike you cn launch off any part of the jump and their lighter ans faster to clear the jump. but on a quad the face of the jump has to be even or it will throw you of to the side and can mess u up. Plus when racing quads we get killed by the bike's leaving rutts on the track. But on the other hand we groom the track for the bike's

I dont no whats easyer to ride cause I've never rode a quad really that much ive always rode bikes. But from the looks of it theres alot less up and down on a quad which is alot less work and it's probably alot easyer to burn threw corners. Ill give it to you on the jumping thing thow it is probably harder to jump a quad.

now dont u all run off with the quads being so hard....dirt bikes are still really difficult....berming through turns? the both have there ups and downs.....lets end this arguement because there is no real solution
