Well, I'm glad the year is almost over.  Just to update y'all since it appears I have dropped off the planet.  The first day of the Month, my wife and 2-year-old daughter were involved in a car accident not far from home.

Thank God they are ok, but our 2nd vehicle, the Honda, is totaled, airbags out and all.  So we have been getting by with just my sports car, despite having company that same week.  This also means no ATV riding.    [smiley=ThumbsDown.gif]

Then, I got Bronchitis, and had to see the Dr.  Had I not gone to the Dr., I would have been in Chicago in the cold winds that night fixing a critical customer situation at Ohare.  Instead, I worked until 2:00am that morning to come up with a fix despite my illness, but at least I was able to stay home in bed Friday.  Needless to say, it has been crazy.

I'm off all of next week, and I am looking forward to getting life back to normal, and getting back to the trails again.  Hope to see some of you soon.   --Steve

Aww, thanks for all your kind comments.  Now enough sentiment.  Got some riding in this week, quite the fix I needed to end the year out right.

And Darryl smarta$$,   Grin No need to change screennames, I still ride Red.  In the end, it wasn't a bad deal to get a new towing vehicle.  The new leather seats are quite comfortable after a day's riding.  Hmmm, wife wrecks car, gets new one.  Honda328i wrecks quad, gets new 450R, think it will work?  Grin Grin

I dont think that 250 you were riding had a roll bar and an
air bag, least didnt see them except for the ejecto-cooler
option.Anyway just sell it and buy a new 450.Rich Guy like
you shouldnt be a problem.ROOST OUT

Yo Steve, I'll be riding this weekend if you wanna come up, I got a friend who is trying to convince his wife to get a quad and yours is quite tame compared to the bucking bronce I ride,,,,would you mind if they tried it?

I think the pond near the cabin is pretty much dried up now from the 'canes. so no deep water riding left for me.
