Cool?  I dont really like quads unless it has a known brand stickered to the side.  Why go for one of them when you can get a brand name one and know they wont go out of business and isnt a hunk of junk?  Then again its all up to  the purshaser.

Do you know that feeling when you get a new quad! It is so much excitement. What gives you the right to try to knock someone else and tell them their quad is a hunk of junk. Grow up!!

yea thats my stang too..lol..but its only a 4-banger not the 5.0(5.0 rims though) and yea its my tow vehicle too...lol.
dont worry my feelings aint hurt. I also have an 06 cr250 so I do know what its like to have a brand name I also have an 01 kawasaki lakota, thats sorta shared with the rest of the family so this is my quad.
Oh and yea it is a 300. its two wheel drive, liquid cooled, adjustable shocks all around, has a digital speedo, tack, trip, odometer, and clock so for the price they aint too bad after dropping 7000 on the dirtbike i hadda look cheaper for this one. i also have two buddies one with the same thing here and another with a 4x4 rancher and the kymco will walk places the rancher wont,so....no offense to honda or ranchers, i was actually considering one. thanks for all the compliments guys.

p.s. dont worry guys it wont be long ill show ya what she looks like covered in mud   hehe

that is 1 sweet looking quad. I will have to say it is better looking than any 2WD quads from any of the "big" names. Kymco is what Durhamtown rents and those thing are put through the wringer and hold up great. I have seen a member on here ride the Kymco 250 at full throttle down the whoops on powerline road at big scrub and it did awesome.

Kymco has been around for several years and has even been given good write ups in most of the major ATV rags.  Don't bash em if you ain't tried em.   They might have to tow you home one day!

Bike looks sharp, enjoy Grin Grin Grin

When did  I say it was a hunk of junk?  Exactly, I didnt, I said it could be a hunk of junk, never said it was, COULD.  Its a good feeling whenever you get something brand new, whether its a car, quad, or tools, or whatever floats your boat.  I was voicing my opinion on the quad saying what I think they are from my perspective, not saying its a bad choice, just saying I like name brands.  good god

Nope, you said Why go for one of them when you can get a brand name one and know they won't go out of business and isnt a hunk of junk. You didn't say "could". But like da_mtg_man said, accept it like a man and move on. Also KYMCO is a name brand, a good brand too. The non name brands can be bought on the side of a street. KYMCO has actual dealers.

I don't think some people know the difference between Tiwan and China. Chinese quads are the disposable ones you find in pepboys and places like that. There build quality is poor and there is no way to find parts or a dealer to back you up. Tiwan, in recent years, has stepped up their build quality tremendiously. Kymco is a Tiwanese company but soon they will be competing with suzuki and yamaha and honda. Tiwan realized what they needed to compete in the American market. And since China already took the cheap labor route they really kicked it in the *** and now they are really good. BTW, nice quad. It should last you a very long time and i can see it going lots of places with a good rider and a set of tires.

Heck, it's probably got a better reliability record than a popo. Tongue I've read about Kymco before too, and while I probably wouldn't buy one (yet). I wouldn't say they're bad quads, great features and good reliability for the price is OK with me. I'll probably stick with honda for awhile though. BTW, is that an auto??! That's one of the best features out there I'd say, besides a good suspension and front-end geometry setup. Who cares about power, if it beats the crap out of you on the trail it ain't going to be as fun.  Thumbs Up

Riderz if your really into the spot and read dirt wheels or atvsport at all  you would know that kymco is a name brand and not a bad one at all, maybe not as famous as honda, yama, kawi, or suz, but deffinetly not as expensive, and does the same thing any of those other bikes do, and by the way, that cr250 dont look like a no namer to me. Hey hondaguy, nice quad, and bad a$$ dirt bike!!

yes MachineDog it is an auto, with a high and low range and reverse. its the first ute i've owned and the first auto ive driven and i love them now. the low range if you ask me is perfect. dont worry SpringHill Riderz dont take this stuff too personal. Before I bought it and I was asking around a lot of people gave me the same speeches versus a name brand. But I took all the info I gathered(a lot of positive which I recieved from another post on this site) and made a good purchase, I believe, time will tell though. Thanks for all the positive feedback guys.
