I had the same problem with my moped, I got mine for free it is a JAWA 50. It runs great now and I clocked it at 33mph. I just took the carb compleatly apart and let it soak for a couple days in Carb cleaner then poked all the jets out with a fine sewing needle, and took the air compressor to the main carb body and un-clogged all the openings and even made my own gasket, It runs shweeet now....

Hey, are you allowed to ride those things on the sidewalk? Just wondering. Nice snorkel job though, we just built one for the recon which was a pain.

Where I live no one minds. You can ride up and down my road for hours and no one will care. As long as you let them drive it once and awhile

lol, yeah, we ride our quads around here usually no problem, just the cops if they see you will stop you. And my buddy's been to court a couple times, next time he's getting his quad impounded so he's on full alert for cops. It sucks cause, people ride horses around all the time and they're completely legal. Even Horse Xing signs in some areas. I'd be more afraid of a freeking horse then a quad. Just unpredictable..

You are lucky. I have never owned one, but my friends that do have gotten tickets from the cops just from riding on back roads. Cape Coral is the worst place ever to be a kid and try to have fun.
