what are you running for jetting?
06 dvx with dynojet jet kit, Uni filter, and E2 slip on.  pops and sputters on the top end with the recommended dj130 in it

dj150 -dj155?
or are you refering to a standard size 150-155
im not really sure, i think the main jet should be 150. thats what we ran on my friends z and on mines.

Should be a 155 in Florida but may have to move the needle setting.  Sometimes you just have to play with the setting and the jets.   Go to Z400Central.com and search in the tech section for your setup. Good luck.

try the 155  main jet! no lid should  work ok. im runnin 160 with a full fmf

put a dj 155 main jet in and turn jour mixture screw 3.5 turns out from all the way in, and you have to have an air filter and the lid off

Just up the M/J size, Dynojets instructions are a lean setting, just put the 150-160 like the guys said and it should be fine maybe mess with the clip position?

i put the dj160 in and it is better but still stumbles a little on the top.

It could be a little too rich now, try leaning out the a/f screw a little, if this doesn't work then maybe the carb is dirty? or the needle clip isn't in the right position...
