Pulled this off the ocean pond website  www.oceanpond.net

If you live close to the area, try to make it to this commish meeting.  I dont get them shutting a legitimate business down,  so ill be attending this meeting to see if i can help by voicing my opinion.
Its crazy when the voice of "one" can outshout the voice of many, and this is exactly whats happening to this riding area.

"IMPORTANT !!! *****There is going to be another county comissioner meeting. We are asking everyone who can possibly come to pleed our case with us to come. Let's fight and keep Ocean Pond alive!******** Jan. 20th at 5:45 pm ********* WE do not think of you as cheerleaders You are the backbone of OceanPond and also GOD has everything to do with everything and he knows what we stand for and do at OceanPond

Let's not forget how comissioners get in office WE VOTE "

Lets try to rally around them and show up before ANOTHER riding spot gets shut down.  Its at the Dixie county Courthouse.  If you need directions, or heres a link to their contact info.
http://www.dixie-county.com/commission/commission.html
http://www.dixie-county.com/about/contacts/contact.htm

looks mostly like phone numbers and not emails.  But if enough people at least called them to let them know they were out of towners that spent a good chunk of cash in the county once a month it might make a difference.
take a few minutes and make the call about them shutting down Ocean pond.  Even if you dont go there, spend a dime and let your voice be heard.  Weve lost too many of the few places we can ride.  This is just one more of the dominos falling.
HELP!!!

We have talked to Norm and we let him know if he needs anything to call us, we will send a letter of support. We of all people know what the FIGHT is like to have an offroad Rec spot. We would like to go back in front of our Commisioners as well to have some of our limitations and rules revised, It's ridicoulous what they require you have and the money they want from ya each month to operate something on your own property,, Saltsdale CEO says all the time he's in the wrong bussiness, that he needs to start his own COUNTY because they are some money making fools..LOL. So everyone who cant make it to the meeting send a letter or e-mail them. One by one they are trying to shut down the ATV and muddhole riding spots doesn't seem to matter what County it is in.
