banshee maintenance

My brother in law wants to buy another 4 wheeler. He has always wanted a banshee and you can pick them up reasonably cheap and there are a ton of parts out there, but we were curious how much does it take to keep one running well? Is there alot of tuning and maintenance on the engine?

it's a 2 stroke, only so much could go wrong, and im not a fan of mixing gas, you have to get the mixture perfect, just not my type of thing, dont get me wrong if you treat it well it will last you a long time

be ready to treat that thing good, lots of care, and you have to do the regular maintanence +. But they are crazy fast so it is worth it.

2 strokes is easy, it may be a litle less reliable but its so easy to work on 2 strokes

2 strokes are so easy to work on even a caveman can do it...........
"I'll have the roast duck w/ the mango salsa"
But premixing the gas is easy. They sell measurement cups with all the different ratios. I think the maintenance on a 2 stroke is less than a 4. Excluding if you are racing a full season but for a weekend warrior just mix the gas and change the gear oil once and a while and you're fine. -Mark
