Wooo Hooo,
looks like I'm gonna make this one........ Finally.... hell,  I've only made  2 freakin races all year....... I'll make this one and the last Quad Scramble.....since the Sweetwater race is practically in my back yard.... No joke,  about 10 mins from my house....  Looking forward to riding in Osteen..

   Willis,
sorry to hear that you are gonna sit this one out.....  That means maybe, just maybe I might have a chance.......   See ya at the SADRA race bro.
       Later
         Joe 918VET...

First race in a while where we had no injuries. It was FUN!! It was about a 6-7 mile course and did I already say IT WAS FUN!!?
Pecan and I battled for the holeshot. I think I got it only to be immediately passed to 2nd followed by me passing him after overshooting the 2nd turn. For the next 3 laps I have no idea what happened behind me. After the 3 lap Pecan came around me like a bat out of Hell! I was out of energy. My camelback broke just after the start so I was unable to hydrate. Joe Kirkland passed me as I was in 1st gear, idle speed, ready to barf. Tommy Shinholster was at the scoring tent when I went through on the 4th lap. He handed me his water, which to my surprise, had Gatoraide in it! I am not kidding when I tell you after another 2-3 miles, I was alive again. I hammered down and finally caught Joe. I was catching up to Pecan and it was over.
I am kind of glad I didn't make this race my first win. The trophies have a motorcycle on them. How lame is that?! Big FU to the quadders from the Apollo boys I guess.
So after 5 laps it was Pecan, Morris, Kirkland, Taylor in the Vet class. I have no idea whoelse placed what where. I had a blast! Some of the trail was wide and sandy and FAST!

It was a great track and a great day, I wish that rain would have come sooner.  I wiped out an A-arm in practice but thanks to a loaner from Brian Vis I was able to race. Man, there was a lot of stumps. I finished 3rd in C-open 1 min. behind 1st and 2 sec. behind 2nd.  I wish I could of had 1 more lap to finish my drive for 2nd.
I agree on the plaque, that was lame to not have a quad on it.

Just finished taking a toothbrush to the YFZ and found I have bent my Left lower a-arm. Or rather there is a BIG dent in the leading tube.  Sad
