If you ever buy a new Honda Rincon, don't let your wife ride it or you will have to replace her V-Force and get her one of these............... 2005 Suzuki Kindquad 700.   Got this one used, had 40 hours and 386 miles, two sets of tires, warn winch, front bumper, "A" arm guards and extended warranty through 2009 too.  Anyway let me know what you think.

One very nice quad there. Very nice indeed.

Won't be pulling her out much, it'll be the other way around.

Love the color, ride red, Honda.      OH it's not a Honda, that's OK, I like it anyway.

Nice KingQuad, sounds like shes hooked on ATVing  Cool ... Nice Camaro, is it a V6 or does it have the LS1 in it? I can tell it is 98+ because thats when they changed the front end. I love Camaro's, I'm saving for a 2002 Z/28 or SS but right now I have a 1995 V6 with 60K miles on it now (The one in my signature).

The car is a 2002 Z06 Corvette, I have always wanted one so a couple of years ago I said "what the phuck" and got it.  I gave the 1999 Camaro to my son but it only has the 3.8L in it, not even in the same league as the Z06.....  I get a kick out of the (not to offend anybody) little turbo charged jap cars that want to run on the street, when they find out the car is stock most get pissed.  Before I get a bunch of replies, yes I know you can make any car fast, so please don't email me with all of the my car is faster than your Z06 stuff.  Send me a copy of your slip from the track though, please, I would be interested in seeing what you have to run....

Thanks for the interest in my toys and the post...

Here is one of the motor.   The only modification is the carbon fiber air bridge and a K&N air filter, it has also been lowered a bit too.  Although it is my toy, my wife drives the Z06 every day to work.

What have you ran before?

Best I ever ran on a 8th mile track was 8.7 with a 1.6 60foot and trap speed of 80mph.

I love the Z06 though, any year to me is pure awesomeness. I would trade my lightning for one in a heart beat.

Yeah, it would be closer if it was the Z/28 which borrows the 5.7 LS1 V8 from the Corvette... I have always liked Camaro's more than Corvettes, but I would own both if I could lol... I know what your talking about with the import guys, they think they are driving a rocket. I'm sorry, but a 4 cylinder that runs 18's in the 1/4 mile is not going to have a 10 second 1/4 if you slap a turbo in it, like most (Mostly Honda Civic drivers) the import fans seem to think. There is no replacement for displacement.

I have ran the car one time at Moroso and I spun all of first gear, most of second and missed fourth once and the car still ran a 13.40 @ 105 mph.  I was very nervious to say the least but I wanted to give it a try.  In my defense the track was very greasy and after hours of people complaining they sprayed 3/4 of the track with the sticky stuff, if I would have ran then I feel certain I would have been in the high 12's.  The car with a professional driving, Chevy claims the will go 12.3 @ 118mph, check for yourself.  Oh, the Z06 has an LS6, not the LS1, in it.  405 hp with 400 ft/lbs of torque.

You missed fourth and still made a mid 13 with that...?
LOW 12'S?? Not with those tires. Smiley

Nice rides you have there. The KQ is sweet. I think I am going to trade my Vinson in.

Yes, I ran 13.40 with all the above information.....  I don't know what else to say.  The tires are Michelin Sport Pilot size 295/35/18 stock size, no burn out, bypassed the water trap.  Like I said, look on z06vette.com and you will be able to find the Chevy information on what they got the car to do, they say 12.3 @ 118mph, I am not making it up, look for yourself.  I don't think there were any slicks involve.  The new Z06 runs 11.70 in 1/4 mile, again look for yourself.  I am working nights now, but have tomorrow night off, I will try to post the Moroso slip.  I have a G-tech pro RR, I had it on when I did my pass and I will try to post that information too.  Thanks for the conversation and will again try to get it posted.

I did not go looking for the Kingquad just a good deal came up.  How do you like your Suzuki product?  Really let me know what you think.  We are going to ride ours for the first time on Friday, hope it is nice, my wife is really excited about the bike and hope it rides better that the V-Force she had.

Here is a couple of quick links that you can get some data for the 2002 Z06 Corvette:

http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/reviews/rt2115a.shtml

http://www.corvettemuseum.com/specs/2002/z06.shtml

Corvette Museum under the More Torque = Better Performance section states :

The Z06 will continue to be outfitted with the unique six-speed manual transmission for 2002. It will enable skilled drivers to achieve 0-60 mph times of 3.9 seconds and to cover a quarter mile in 12.4 seconds at 116 mph. By comparison, the 2001 powertrain combination achieved 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds and the quarter mile in 12.6 seconds at 114 mph.

They do talk about a "skilled driver", I never said I was thus the spinning in first and second plus missing fourth, don't forget about the "13.40".  I will get the stock car in the 12's though.  Let me know if you find anything different.  Please let me know how you like your Suzuki too, I did not hear anything bad about them....  Thanks again.

Here is the information from my G-tech pro RR.  The red is acutally the first run look at the time at the top of the screen.  Right out of the hole I had to pedel the car a .5 seconds and just before the 11 second mark I missed 4th gear twice.  I do not know why the total 1/4 time got lost but I am telling you it was 13.40.  The second run in black you can see I rolled out for about 1 second until I really got on it and I still turned the tires abit and I did not bounce the tach like I did on my first run ,I hit the rev limiter at 3.5 and 6 seconds (6,500 redline).  I was not wanting to spin the tires very much in the second run and still ran a 13.840 @ 105.19 which was almost the exact time Moroso had for me, the only thing I remember different was the MPH was a little over 106 for the second run per Moroso.  Trust me the first run was ugly but the stuff is happening very fast, trust me!.  I can't find my time sheet from Moroso, but I have nothing to hide.  Click the picture to get a bit larger..

Anymore discussion on the bike or car?  I look forward to hearing about quirks on the Kindquad.  We are taking it out tonight and will post some other pictures.

The G-tech shows the max G's as .06 and HP @ 260 to the ground, seems light but that is what is has.  As for the other question, a couple of sharp individuals picked up some of my other toys from the pictures of my wife's bike.  Good to hear from you again and Iwill post some pictures of my ride tonight.

That seems really low for a 405hp car. That much powerloss is amazing. I would bet its making more than that. My lightning dynoed in at 336 with outside air at 85*. Where as it shows 380 at the crank.

Weird man. Maybe you missed the 3 and hit the 2. That would sound more reasonable.

That is what the G-tech says but I was told the HP shoud be around 340 to 360.  I was not totally sure how to set that up in the G-tech.  I went back and looked at the graph, the HP number don't look right, thanks for the information.
