I'd get one if they werent so darn expensive, I think they're like $375 or $400 or something! I'll give one a try once I have some excess fundage. They're so good becuase you can have the middle stiff, while having the sides soft or whatnot so it's still easy to turn. On my gibson's, its either easy or stiff (theres 7 adjustments) all the way through, and when it's on hard, you can't even move the bars!

You cannot go wrong with the precision concepts stabilizer, I have ran the W.E.R. the G.P.R. and a denton and nothing compares to the precision...
In my opinion it is the best on the market right now.

Precision stabilizers retail for 485.00. You can get them on Ebay for stightly less but it still costs 20.00 to ship it and if you get it from a FL shop you have to add in sales tax.
A word to the wise: Precision is sitting at a 4 week wait right now. Anyone selling them on Ebay is probably drop shipping it to you. Make sure you email them and see if they actually have it in stock before bidding. If not you will still have the 4 week wait.

Here's how the precision stabilizer worked for me. I took a ride down a trail full of rocks and roots without the stabilizer installed. I had to hang on because every rock/root I hit jarred the bars. I put on the stabilizer, and the same trail I was riding with basically 2 fingers...you could barely even feel the hits

I am pretty sure mike penland has a stabilizer on his kawi and bomb. I would look into it, but I bet they are a pretty penny and difficult to mount. |

Um... it's kinds hard to explain but I'll try Basically it's like a shock that's mounted on your steering stem. It absorbes shock and you can adjust it soft to very hard. like if your racing/riding a whooped mx track it will keep you from fish-tailing and getting arm-pump. If anyone can explain better go for it |

you explained it pretty good alba450! it also prevents a lot of bump steeing! basically is stops the bumps turning your handle bars when you wnat to go stright which in return will help with fatigue!  |

Thanks it will! i rode with mine in the woods and i worked! i still felt them a little! but it definately helped i wont ride with out one ever again! |

no you dont need a steering stem. it will bolt upi to the stock stem!
