check stolen bike

ok guys I am looking into buying a 250r but i want to make shure it is not stolen. I know i can check the vin's but where are the vins located on a 86 atc 250r?Thanks for the help fellas.

Yea I allready know to use that to check but I dont know where are the vin's located on a 86 atc 250r.

I don't know where the vin is on the quad in question, but another site to check to make sure it's not stolen is the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. http://pas.fdle.state.fl.us/

as a atc owner i know where top of the it is...on the left side top of the frame...on like a little sticker

Cool thanks alot.But wait you said its on a sticker right?? well if its a sticker couldnt a theif just pull that off and now the bike has no vin's is there any where else i can check for vin's. Like some where on the frame??Thanks for the help guys

lol Well I am getting a really good deal on a 86 250r atc but the price sounds so good i want to double check if its stolen or what. the trike only needs a new clutch and could use a revalved rear shock and thats it everything else is in awasome condition.how much are you willing to pay for a 86 250r ? mabeay we can work something out
