Ok this is the start of project budget 400ex (not realy cheap but doing alot of the work myself )

Just a question, what was the stock gearing.

stock is 15 in the front and i think 38 in the back
when i get my big bore ect... im going to go up on the front to a 16  i have the 14 for now

and boyyyyyyy its loud
it sounds awsome
i didnt even re jet it and it started right up
im going to be puting the jets in toomower

By the looks of your air box... You either need a foam filter or a outerwear.. If not, get used to cleaning your jets every time you get done riding.

i sold  the tires and rims cuz i wnated the $$ to bild up my 400ex i should be selling the exhaust,jet kit,filter for 230 sum day this week to a kid i know

lol i road my friends rincon and it didnt turn 27s to good in thick mud and alot of ppl told me not to go with it
