The rolling stones! oh and make sure to make all the events after may good, I'll be able to drive then. Evil

Or you could have someone cool like carrie underwood and kieth urban, since thats what everyone likes. But I think a good band would be something like conferdate railroad, or alabama.

I'd like to see some sort of southern rock band to appeal to the people who like country and the people who like rock.  Of course Lynard Skynard first comes to mind, then there's .38 Special (they put on an awesome show), Hank Jr., Bo Bice is new and should be reasonably cheap.

I personally listen to alternative rock, Godsmack,Matchbox 20, Seether, Alter Bridge, Scott Stapp, Evanescence, Submersed, etc.

Country favorite is Martina McBride (currently touring)(Boookie LOVES, yummy !)

Sheryl Crow would have been a good suggestion, but I don't think she's touring anymore since she was diagnosed with breast cancer (God help her)

We are a little afraid of SOUTHERN rock after we did  MOLLY HATCHETT & FOG HAT together August 20th,2005. We were expecting a big crowd and
quite frankly we had VERY FEW. We had alot of extra expense in security, Pot-a-lets, EMS and alot more, that weekend and it just didn't work out.
We have April and May covered now. So, we are just looking for ideas for June.

Ill post it here too to see what others think.

How about Buck Wild? Not sure if they have ever played out there before but they are a pretty good band that hasn't made it huge yet. They have opened for big names though.
