i would go with the hipers because they look good, their light, and if u hit something they will bend back to normal instead of being  bent all the way.

Get the hipers.

1)  They are lighter
2)  They are stronger
3)  They are modular
that means if you break a piece of it you dont have to replace the whole wheel

I used to run aluminum wheels....Not anymore

HIPERS, they are the only way to go, I have trashed lots of other beadlocks,,, and the hipers I have only had to replace one and they covered it under warranty...

I have been racing HIPERS for 3 years now in all kinds of rock, stump, and tree filled XC courses I ride very hard and very fast and I have only cracked one, I have trashed at least 4 beadlock aluminum wheels before I dropped the money on HIPERS...

Go with HiPer!!

They are well worth the money...like Pledger said -  My husband and I run HiPer's (FTR & GNCC) - they take a beating - and are amazing!!

Oh and depending on the crack...HiPer does have a warranty on their wheels and their customer service is second to NONE!!!

Go with HiPer - they are the last set of wheels you will ever need to buy!!!!

in my opinion, i THINK none of the top pro's run hipers because they crack, which would not let you finish a race. aluminum on the other hand won't crack just bent or warp which would give a pretty mean wobble but you can prbably finish the race, even to just get points instead of DNF. like i said my opinion, it is what I think. i am probably wrong, just my angle.

Get the most expensive set who cares how they look or work. you could at least say my rims cost as much as half your bike.
