I've got a 2003 Yamaha ATV that I am financing. I have a 5 year deal on it, and I'm 2 years into that. I'd like to trade it in on a motorcycle, something I can use to go back and forth to work and school when the weather is nice. Will dealers take trade ins that are being financed? I would like finance the motorcycle too. Would the dealer I got the ATV from be more willing to work a finance deal since I got the ATV from them? Thanks for any replies.

Should work just like a car deal.  They will give you "x" amount for the ATV, pay off what you owe and you use whatever is leftover for the down payment on the motorcycle and they should finance that too.  Shouldn't be any problem as long as they will give you more than you owe on the ATV!  You'll just have to see how it works, you may do better by selling your ATV outright.

You will definately do better selling it outright, you will take a beating trading it in. What is it you have, try posting it on here.

I've been trying to sell it on here and in the cycletrader for 4 months and I haven't had a single person call on it. I'm about to give up on trying to sell it.  Sad It's a 2003 Wolverine. I think people want a 500cc and up 4x4 these days and not a 350.
