Never heard of it, but if it's legal I'd love to know about it.

spoke to a fwc cop, today he tolled me about it. he said its ok to ride there, also said if any place is not gated and posted, you can ride there,he was a real cool guy.not looking to bust anyone chops, just as long as you are rideing safe, i just saw the fence over by lantana rd and fla tpk, what a shame they fenced it closed, its time us rider do something about this,we need a place to ride here in west palm beach.im willing to put up money, to buy or lease land so all the atv riders can go.anyone who wants to do something about getting land to ride, im in.

the reason why they closed lantana is cause there was two really bad accidents were a ute was climbing the back side of the hill while another was coming down they collided head on. the guy on the ute had no helmet and got hurt real bad , they had trauma hawk transported him to the hospital. i guess enough is enough........stupid is what stupid does.........

I don't know where you got your information from but it is Illeagal to ride on any private land in Palm Beach County, unless you own it or have permission from the owner.

LIKE I WAS TOLLED, NOT POSTED AND GATED,AND ALSO OWNER MUST BE ON LIST WITH POLICE DEPT,YOU CAN RIDE, NOT ALL LAND IS PRIVATE OWNED.RITE FROM F.W.C. COP. THATS WHAT HE SAID.

It's illegal to ride on private property without permission from the owner. And even then it can get out of control, the ole' place on 200th and 59th that just closed down was permission from the owner but the neighbors got real mad after awhile thanks to horses being let out and the bikes being ridden loud all night.

Doesn't sound right to me good luck with that plan.

FWC specializes in patrolling Wildlife Management Areas / WMAs........ All land in this state is owned by someone. If not by a private owner, the city, county, or state owns it. Just because a property is not posted or fenced doesn't mean your not trespassing. It just means the requirements set forth by Florida law are not met to effect an arrest. If the property is not public land open to the public, or property owned by you, or property the owner has given you permission to be on, your trespassing. It's that simple.
