Well they look like ricers to me. Look at the spoilers on the back of them, are those stock? If they are those are huge! And whats the point of a carbon fiber hood? It doesnt save enough weight to amount to anything and it looks ugly to me, but to each his own. But like you said, those are no where near as bad as some of the Eclipses and Civics that are driving around. Like I said, not intending to start a flame war or nothing. That camera takes some great quaility pictures.
The spoilers come stock.  Carbon fiber hood not only looks sick, but it takes away some weight not much though, mainly for looks though.  The blue one gets sh*t free (or really cheap) because hes sponsored.  I used to hate carbon fiber stuff but ive really grown to love it.

Sweet pics. where did you get two evo's?
My friends...  The yellow one ive known him for a few years now actually hes a member on this site and kawgirl's nephew, and the blue one goes to my school.... and of course all the evo drivers around here know each other.  Ive got another 4 friends with evos... All different colors... Also one is the new Evo IX.

Nice pics.  I'm a big fan of import cars.  Those Evo's destroy alot of cars just mildly modified and tuned.  Sorry to say those 4 cylinders eat up american V8's all day long.

Yeah..My Blaster can beat YFZ450's, Banshees, 450R's and Raptor700's. I have lost to no one...My friends Evo does like 400MPH and goes from 0-60 in like 1 second flat.  And my V6 Camaro can take any V8 any day of the week....I'm sorry dude, but bigger displacement always wins. Oh yeah, hows that torque going for you on your 4 banger? ...The only good ones (imports) IMO are the Supra and the Skyline and Toyta has stoped producton of the Supra and how many Skyline's do you see? Not trying to start a flame war or anything, its just that I was raised a Chevy boy and I wouldn't ever buy anything but an American Brand.

4 bangers run lakeland drag strip. even over all the V8s,Including my dads bosses camero(not street legal nor anywhere near street legal). So bigger displacement isnt the one that always wins.

Nice pics. Whose Evos are them? they look sweet

You are wrong.... You forgot the Mazda RX-7, Subaru WRX STI and this awesome car. + many other Imports (not those gay civics that sound like a fart and have 87 HP....)

I am going to half to agree these are not RICE but precisely engineered, purpose built cars. and when a 2.0 liter factory turbochared engine can put out 276 HP and 286 LB/FT of torque, have a push button suspension adjustment (Road, Snow, Gravel) and run a 13.1 quarter mile time and be able to do all-wheel-drive donuts stock for $$$30,000 that is not rice my friends that IS AN AWESOME CAR!!!!! The blue Evo looks sick and nice pics.

Heres a couple videos of that Ricer.....

http://videos.streetfire.net/category/Mitsubishi/0/9119A1A3-4B5E-4825-91D5-A690CCF91230.htm

Oh and here is the World's fastest Mitsubihi Evo 8 so far... I ain't no big block chevy or 8-sec Cobra but it is sick.....It is the AMS performance Evo. The shop is in Jacksonville.and it is still a streetlegal factory-blocked monster.

http://videos.streetfire.net/search/ams/0/9ADFE89A-D1D0-41FF-B055-1A0AF7354E90.htm

http://videos.streetfire.net/search/ams/0/397A9318-65A9-446C-B631-A8652F9440CA.htm

If anyone has read the new Modified mag or Super Street magazine they did a test on this car and it had 880HP to all 4 wheels in street tune.

How am I wrong? Look at what you highlighted. It says the only good ones IN MY OPINION are the Supra and Skyline.

Oh sorry for saying that your Opinions are wrong. But Supra's and Skylines aren't the best imports.

Have any of you American car fans ever rode in or driven a turbo 4 cylinder that's been tuned?  I have friends with Evo's and Sti's. I have a built, turbo'd miata with a 35 shot of nitrous.  I make 247 hp at my rear wheels.  My car weighs roughly 2000lbs.  I've raced Z06 corvettes and been door to door with them.  It's not all about horsepower.  It's the weight and gearing of some 4 cylinders that kills V8's.  Oh and all that horsepower just overpowers the wheels and spins tires.  I get an awesome launch with little to no tire spin.  I'm sick and tired of being called a "ricer" when half of you people dont know what you are talking about.  I don't dislike american cars or V8's, I just choose to work on imports.

Nope, havent even seen one.  I dont think my car is the best.  But I built it for $8000 and I can keep up with american muscle!  My car isn't really even built for a drag, it's setup for corners and exiting corners.  And boy does it come outta corners.

Wow... Sorry for digging up an old thread... I haven't been on this site in a year or so.. but I just thought id throw my 2 cents in here. The yellow EVO in the pictures happens to be mine.. And despite what most of you redneck v8 driving people in here might think. For being pretty much STOCK 4cylinder 4 door grocery getting car. It runs a 12.8 right now. And as for the blue one.. its about 450hp and 380lbs of torque. Close to a low 11 second car. Dont say bigger displacement always wins... because its NOT true.  >:

Dispite what you WIGGER driving I-4 people want to think, you drive an economy box, so get over it. There is no replacement for displacement. I'm sorry if you think your money going over to another countrys economy is great, but I will always buy an American car as long as they are made. I guess supporting my own countrys economy makes me a redneck.

no. but being closed minded about it does..

Well you show me an I-4 that runs 8 second 1/4 miles, is all motor (No TC's or SC's), has not been gutted for weight loss and is still street legal and on street tires and I will respect that car. I realize you can make anything fast, hell there’s a school bus that runs around 10 second quarter miles. I just like cars that are fast with all motor mods. Go ahead and think what you want, but when this is posted in a public forum, expect criticism.

Show me an american V-8 that can run a 8 second 1/4 mile using the parameters you just set...

V-8 are awesome and I would take a V-8 car over a four banger anyday, but you have to admire the technology and engineering that has gone into some of the import cars....

And the blue one is around 27lbs on a the smallest upgradeable turbo.. the 20G.
