Nice! Im waiting to get my new comp until Vista comes out. I think Intel is going to be releasing a new processor to coincide with the Vista release.

dudes, dudes, dudes,,,,DONT bother with Vista till they do a LOT more work to it.

with my new job we got to play with it and put it on some machines for a Microsoft user conference a couple weeks back,,,,,basically my professional opinion is    It SUCKS

we were running it on a Dell desktop with 1GB of RAM running what looked like Win2000.

oh, another note,,,,Symantec Ghost won't work setting it up either.

Nice there big-daddy, real nice. Just heard of the new 64 bit systems due out soon. It should be nice when the bugs get worked out. Microsoft always releases the product before all the quirks are worked out. After windows 3.1, I was never happy until xp came out. Enjoy that hot rod pc big-daddy, I know you will.

I don't know much about computers, it's all chinese to me, I think the saying goes.  But I've heard of building your own custom computers, and I'm sure that the way to go when you wanna get the best of the best.

I have the top of the line stuff in mine also . Once the price got up over $1500 (processor $900)i thought it was time to slow down lol thats why i didn't add the 7800 and went with 1 6800 instead . I think my processor is just as fast as the AMD, he has 4 gigs of mem. but its ddr 400mhz PC3200....i have 1 gig thats just as fast ,ddr2 667 mhz PC5400(Corsair top of the line), also i have a really nice thermaltake case ,Tsunami Dream, so far I haven't found a game that I can't play even with the settings jacked up, i can run a few programs at once with no problem ....either way both of our puters are very close , Dual Core Processors are the way to go ...I will be getting 1 512mb video card ,another gig of memory and a dual screen monitor next maybe a water cooler cause i'm tired of hearing all these dang fans (8 of them )
