there should be 2 wires running off the ing. switch. just cut them off and connect them. if your gonna ride with it i would just strip them, twist them together, and tape them.

ppark....aren't there more than two wires from the ignition switch?

You can't just twist two together and go........
you twist two together...and then touch two together
to turn the starter.
But like I said....i do not have a schematic in front of me to
tell which color wire is which.
(makes me want to go to the dealer tomorrow and have an extra key made up)

on atvs theres only 2 wires. atleast all that ive messed with. you can just twist and go.
its just a master switch that kills all power. if you connect it you can start the bike like normal.

My polaris has 4. The two outside ones are the right ones. I would call the dealer and ask them. I would not take a chance on burning a stator or some module up. Could get expensive.

Yes, but on a polaris, the key is pushed or twisted to start the bike. That's why you have four wires. A Grizzly has a seperate push botton for the starter. The key switch is just a master power switch.
