i got new plates and springs for my 300ex over rockymountain and i was wondering if it was hard to put them in and if anyone had any advice for me for when i put it in. thanx

You most probably have to apply oil to the friction plates. But don't apply to the spacers. It isn't too hard just give yourself a day to do it...

its no big deal. i changed tehm on my neighbors 400.
all you gotta do is take off the cover and remove the bolts that hold the assembly together.
you should be able to do it in less then 2 hours.
