Shouldn't be too hard to get it approved as long as you find out what needs to be done b4 you go in. There was one right off the turnpike on 27 but it got shut down b/c the guy was charging and didn't have insurance. Sounds good though be great to have a track closer to home Wink

That place rocks.

So...when you gonna invite us to check it  out?

I'll bring the grill, we can make a day of it.

bad news  Cry   looks like the county says its too close to the bike trails system  and the highway  because of the noise that it would make  we might try to make it a  privite members only track  we would have signs up that would have to say  "No tresspassing  members only "
we were out there this pass weekend  doing more work  its looks to be only a pratice track only  Cry

Thanks Lake county board of bull $hit

what about taking it to a county meeting??? everyone local could come and explain why it would be a good idea. Maybe that would work...also check into some of the local shops see if maybe they would be willing to sponsor the track and explain that it could be profitable to Clermont b/c of the people coming from far away....hotels, gas, food ect. If anything when I get back from Va I'll see what I can find out from some of the people I know. God knows it would def be worth it to fight for it especially as close as it is.

these people really make me laugh. They would rather spend tax payers money on the cops chasing us around in helicopters and rangers chasing us through the forest, then to let us have a place to ride legally and the owner put a couple of bucks in there pockets. We're gonna find a place to ride no matter legal or not so they might as well make it easy on thereselves. Unforunately they don't look at that way though Angry

county commisioners.....LMFAO....they are a freaking joke....just go to one of the meetings....

agriculture zoned property can get turned into residential in a heart beat, because impact fees and property taxes benefit the county.  Let's move over 400 houses into umatilla, and not improve the freaking COUNTY ROADS, COUNTY DRAINAGE SYSTEM, COUNTY WASTE SYSTEM, etc...

The Lake County Board of County Commisioners can't see past the money they are spending before the receive.  One day they will wake up see that they have royally F&CKED this county up beyond repair.
