Does anyone in Florida have a pulling competition for atv's? I would like to hook up to a pull sled with my Polaris. The guy that owns the weld shop down the road from me said he could build a sled for $6000. I think it sounds cool and would really like to have one but I aint got six grand layin around for a project like this right now. Granted my atv cost more than that but I get to make payments on it. If a couple of us got involved in a project like this we could probably pay for it rather quickly charging an entry fee to the contestants. We could tow the sled to different locations on the weekend and get everyone involved. Have a 2 and 4 wheel drive class. Do I sound crazy? I would like to see what some of your thoughts on this idea would be. Larry

One year I was invited to go check out some tractor pulls, My wife, father inlaw and family are from a smaller town than I live in called Mansfield in Ohio. the Home of the Ox Roast. none the less I am expecting high horsepower nitromethane snorting power house domination. Well to my surprise rolls out these common house hold yard tractors hooking up to the same style of sled and geting the job done. rather impressive to say the least.

Chuck, I have seen those high performance lawn mowers at my hometown County Fair in Canton, Ohio when I was a kid. I wish I could have seen them pull but my father didn't want to stay for them. I have always wanted to build a V8 lawn tractor. Nowadays I think I'd rather have a pull sled for my ATV. Its a full pull! I think its a cool sport whatever your using to pull with.
