hey guys, gotta question? just bought a 98 warrior with title but cant find the serial number. my 2001 has it next to the left foot peg, but the 98 doesnt. any idea if its in a different location? the bike was rebuilt from the ground up. its the one that was posted on the forum for sale as a 97 for 2,100. could this be a problem. or is it no big deal since i do have a title. is there anyway of getting a replacement ser. # from the dot.

It should be there, in front of the left foot ped.
Has the frame been painted/powerder coated? Stamping may be filled with primer/paint.

If the frame is a replacement, even if it is from Yamaha it will not have a Vin #. My Warrior frame broke when it was 2 weeks old and was replaced by Yamaha under warrenty. It has no Vin# on it. This could be what happened with the one you bought. If you have a title I would not worry about it.
