Hey All,

Went to Three Lakes WMA this weekend, Jan 14 and 15. Had a lot of fun and here's a few pictures.

This one is of GPSKurt and ChuckRoast. They're the hunters of the group. It was sure nice to meet you all.

This is a break along the road. This is along one of the maintained roads in the WMA.

This is another break along one of the minor roads. Note that once you get off the main roads that it's mostly sugar sand and a little mud.

We froze our butts off the next morning. There was frost. This is Wilburz and WilburzNephew around the campfire or what's left of it.

HEy!  It sure was nice to meet you all.  Not knowing what to expect, I think I may be better prepared next time! (no I won't........I always say that).
A question about three lake WMA.:  Are ATVs welcome all the time? Just during small game season, or what?
There were some very nice roads, and even when Kurt and I rode out in the 'rough' following his dog.......it was quite nice.  If you all plan to do it again.....keep me in mind.
My camera must have crapped out, I think I got two halfway decent pictures. If any of you have pictures you think I may be interested in (Kurt....Barbara still thinks I am lying about you having a dog there)...you can fwd them  to me at themensh@yahoo.com
Sorry to hear about the frosted nuts  (sounds like cereal kind of?)...but Kurt and I had some great pizza in Orlando.
    Again.....nice to meet youse guys.

atv's are welcome there year round. you have to stay on the named and numbered roads all the time except during small games season. which ends on march5.

if you are hunting you need a wma stamp. the place is north of yeehaw junction off of 441.   you only need a quota for the different phases of deer season.
