So there was a big group ride all of about 3 minutes from my house and I missed it. Why do you ask? Because I was cheap........and thats the truth.  See I decided that 3 quarts of synthetic oil was enough to be able to put my machine back together.  What I didn't realize was that I forgot a seal when I was putting  it back together.  That meant taking it apart again......no big deal right? Just save the oil and reuse.  Sure......unless you accidentally knock the container over and have three quarts of synthetic on your garage floor..   Anyway in the midst of my committing "hare kare"  I decided that maybe that would be a little extreme.  I figure that there will be more gruop rides at the Hump.  And next time lunch is on me.  I figure grilling some burgers and dogs at the casa will work.  (don't worry we don't have to get on any paved roads to get to it) But nobody goes into the house!  My wife will freak if a bunch of muddy guys walk in  Laugh .   Sorry I missed out.   Next time......

Oh and by the way don't forget..........synthetic oil ain't available at your local walgreens so stock up when you can.  I sure know that I will next time.

Well we did get seperated a few times, but it was great overall too I think.  If my bike wasn't fouling so many plugs, I would have had more fun.  Is it going to get any drier out there, and if yes until when?  When does it start to get really wet again?

Hey Toomey,

I don't think it gets much drier than now. It may get somewhat drier, but the rainy seasons going to be starting in the next three months or so. There's always the rocks roads.

Na Southern, I live in the Fairways......its a community on the same side of Palm Ave as the Hump is. My back yard runs right up to the FPL easment so its kind of a straight shot with no paved roads.

you have no idea.............

at the beginning the ride suckes @$$ cause we went riding up and down a dirt road and we didnt hit the trails. and my bike broke(my fault, when i changed the stator i didnt route the wires correctly and the magnet chewed it up).

toomeys dad let me ride his recon250 which was awesome(thanks guys).

but all in all i think it was a good ride. those trails were nice and we will def. be out there again but hitting the trails instead of going up and down the dirt roads(boring).

but i'd like to thank the group. we had a bunch of great guys out there that helped out whenever we needed. in this case the company made the ride instead of the terrain. thanks again.

I rented a back hoe for next weekend, so saturday I'll be busy with that thing. Sunday I should be able to get some ride time though.  I actually went out late today after I had finally got her back tgether. The ride was nice but it was cold out.  Bumped into some kid on a rancher 250 that ran out of gas.  I ran home and got him some.  I'm thnkin about going out tommorrow at around 12 in the afternoon or so.
