Nothing, nothing at all.

But, read this. You might learn something.

purchased my Wedding Set on May 11th from Crescent Jewelers...When I think about it I beleive the 'bait and switch' tactic was pulled right away...The ring I chose was a ring in showcase priced at $1,299.00...I was told 'yes nice ring...great sale price'...(the middle stone is .52 carats...princess.....2 small rounds and 26 baugettes totalling .48 carats...1 carat total)...we could not afford high quality stones so the stones in this ring I was told where I1 and I/J color...of course we knew little about diamonds and were not so concerned about that as long as they looked nice to us..we were somewhat aware that they were a low quality stone but thought at first they were better then they actually were rating wise..haha...the cut on the diamonds I have no clue...and it was not a certified diamond of course...that was fine by me..I loved it all the way around no matter what the quality..the look and sparkle of it I was very happy with....managment comes out and says 'oh that ring sale price there is really $2,299.OO since this is our bigger ring in this style...the sales person gave you the wrong price..she gave you the price for the smaller ring'...he then showed us the difference in the rings size sitting side by side...okay fine..no problem...I really wanted this ring and wanted the bigger one after he showed me the difference in the 2 rings of the exact same styles..I mean of course I wanted the bigger one..haha...even though we had to pay one grand more it was fine by me...the manager brings the contract out for us to sign...we paid $450.00 down..my boyfriend looks at it all and there is $150.00 additional charge put on the contract...he asks the manager what that is..manager says 'oh I forgot to mention that, I'm just so used to putting that on all the time...it's an option diamond warranty, that if you lose or crack a stone it's 100% replacable'...ok fine..no problem again..well it was a saturday that we bought the ring...on Monday I looked down and viola...a stone was missing (as small as it was I did find it in my kitchen sink and mind you I never hit the ring or did anything..of course it's new and my first diamond so I was very careful with it all around..haha)...already after day number 2 I'd lost a stone...I called the store...was very upset this occured...heart-broken because I could not beleive it and it was my first 'real' diamond...I went back to the store and refused to accept that ring since in my mind the whole thing was a piece of junk..haha..had me an attitude then (had a 30 return policy)...so when I brought the ring back in I also asked where all the paper work was on my ring for the warranty etc...they said 'oh it comes in the mail about 90 days after your purchase'..ok fine again..no problem...but then I began to wonder why they never told us that to begin with..because I found out a few days later from a friend that that warranty is no good unless you bring the ring in to have it checked and cleaned every so often...hmmm..well anyways they ordered me another ring in the same style...that took a week to come in..after it came in and we brought it home the middle princess stone had very noticable yellow tint...and a big black carbon spot right dead center in the middle..very very noticable...called them up again and told them no way...I didn't want a stone like this...very very upset again...they said they'd order more styles in just like that for me to chose from since I did not want to part with this style of ring nor did I want anything that they had there in different style...ring #3 comes in after another week (why this took so long for these rings to come in is beyond me because they only came from another crescent right there in the oregon area)..there was only one they brought in for me to chose from...I had thought there would at least be more then one to chose from after all this...but it looks good to me anyways..this time of course we were not bringing it home without checking it out totally..we brought it outside and in different lighting there etc before leaving the store this time...I'm happy with it..the only thing really bad about it is 2 of the baugettes (one on each side of bottom rows) looked as if they had a actual chip out of them like big 'V's in them...and you could see right through them and see this from all directions when you looked at the ring..no matter how you moved the ring they would not go away....anyone looking at it would think I had a big old chunk gone right out of the diamond(s)..ok fine..asked for those 2 stones to please be replaced...they tryed to give me another style ring or maybe just replace the center stone from my very first ring since the baugetts were fine in the 2nd ring (the one that had the really bad yellow diamond with the center stone) and like I said just use the center stone out of my first ring and put it into ring #2 because they said how much work it would be for their jeweler to go in and replace those stones..but I did not like the baugetts in the 2nd ring that much..they all looked o.k. but I thought there were just to many splits left in between the baugetts...I like them nicely pushed together evenly like they were in this 3rd ring I had now with just the two baugettes that looked bad and I did not want to take a chance of the first ring center stone looking yellow in that 2nd ring because I noticed on the second ring that the princess stone set at a different level in highth and had my own fear if the stone was replaced it might end up looking yellow in this setting..heck anymore I didn't know...and like I said was not happy with all the splits really that showed in the baugetts in that 2nd ring anyways... so I decided that is o.k..I'll let the 2 bad baugette stones in my final 3rd ring just be replaced by their jeweler even though they discouraged this...so I waited and waited for my ring to come back..after 2 weeks of it being gone and no one calling I started calling the store myself..I was told for 4 days straight that it would be in by 6:00 that evening...every time I called to check after 6:00 before I drove down there...nope not in...on the 5th day (after a 2 week period here already) they told me it would be in by noon and if not they would call 'for sure' after lunch if something happened it did not come in as scheduled...well of course they never called..so me I figure it was in..finally..but yet I was smart enough to call yet again that same day instead of traveling clear back down to the mall which I almost did since they said they'd call me back for sure this time...it was not there...I was just so mad at the way managment never calls back at anytime when promised...well the next day when I called it was finally there and I went to the store to pick it up....I looked at the ring and just basically left the store with it...I was sooo unhappy...I had no more words then...I never wanted to step foot in that store again...I just wanted my ring and wanted out..I got out in my truck and just had a laughing fit..I could not beleive all this was happening and from now on I was gonna let my boyfriend take care of it..the stones if replaced at all were stones just like the other ones...we do know enough now how to look at flaws etc through the jewelers loop we purchased...but no one needed any jewelers loop to notice these stones were yet just as bad if not worse and I just could not beleive this ring came back to me like this...I didn't even bother saying any thing while I was there since managment was not there anyways at the time I picked it up..I was tired of it all...tired of trying...I just figured I'd go to a different Crescent Jewler to have this problem taken care of and I'd had it with this other store..I did not want to ever go back or deal with the management there again...so I called another Crescent Jeweler near me and talked to their manager...I explained in detail what had gone on since day #1 of me having this ring and how my 30 days was now up to be able to return it and I'd already had the ring altered...and anyways if you alter it there is no returns or exchanges period...I knew this but did not want to part with the ring anyways and did not have a problem with it being altered...well now I do because my ring has been torn apart and nothing was accomplished at all...but as far as I was concerned I'd not even been able to have the ring 30 days to begin with..it was always at the store for something while I waited for it...I told the manager at the other crescnet jeweler that I was now going to gry to deal with that I did not want a refund...I wanted this ring..just simply wanted the 2 baugette stones replaced so that they did not look like they were chipped..he said that should of never happened and he'd call me back etc...I had asked to first talk to the regional manager or get his phone number or something...I was told he did not have a direct line and that he'd too call me back..no one ever called....so I called this new manager back...he said he was still waiting to call me back because all the managers were having a phone conference with the regional manager and that he'd pass this along to him...well I was gone on a weekend....saw a call on my caller i.d. from Crescent Jeweler...finally...found out the number came from my old store and wondered...hmmm....what is going on...cuz the new manager said I could deal with their store now...I had tryed to call that number back and got a fax machine every time I tryed to call...well my boyfriend called the new store back yesterday..and the manager there said instead of bringing it to his store to take it to one of the main stores near us where the jeweler is right there and we can have it worked on and fixed on the spot while we wait and that we just tell them what we want and we do not have to explain the whole story to them at all and that the old manager is willing to do anything it takes to make us happy and that we really should go back to the old manager at the store we bought it from anyways since that store is the store that has to be charged for work on my ring... but that we did not 'have' to go back to the old store...well the old manager called my boyfriend at work today...told him something totally opposite..he told him there is no more he can do for us and that he replaced the stones for us as asked and that I was being unreasonable and way to picky about things to begin with...he was very rude to my boyfriend...he said those are I1 stones and those are just optical illusions in the stones......we understand that they are just faucets (we were told this word) and that the stones are not chipped...we understand this...but to me I don't want any stone in my ring no matter what the quality if it's going to look like this...I'd rather have a piece of fake stone or plastic in it instead of it looking like it's got a big see through chunk taken out of it.. I just don't want the stones looking this way normal or not...my boyfriend asked him then why out of 3 different sets of rings didn't the baugetts in those rings look this bad then..none looked like the ones we asked to be replaced out of any of the rings we'd gone through except for this ring I have now..this was the first time we saw any look so bad...so now I've not a clue what to do...no one ever calls us back...someone is lying now or being very 2 faced.....either the manager from where we bought the ring..or the manager at the store I wanted to transfer too..and of course the regional manager will not contact us..as far as we know maybe he's no idea what is going on and the mangagers are sticking together...we did not call the new manager back to tell him that the old manager was rude to us and to ask him to please tell us the truth now on what to do..instead my boyfriend is just going to try to go to the top to get this taken care of..he's done messing with management now...we don't know who to believe now....all I wish is that the stone would of never fell out into day #2 of having the ring....this has all turned into a 2 month hassle for me and it really annoys me that Crescent would do something like this...and of course my 30 days was up 2 1/2 weeks ago...I still would not part with the ring because I love the setting too much...I just feel that we were not treated fairly and would like to get someones opinion on this...One thing I do know...that if I really want my way all I have to do is bust a stone out that I don't like every now and then and say *oops I lost a stone* since I have the warranty..but to me to do something like that is pretty foolish...but let me tell you...sometimes very tempting...haha...I'm sorry this was so drug out and long...I tryed to explain it the best I could and in the best detail..I know most of you are diamond pros and probably have no time for this kind of thing...but I thought I'd give it a try to see if I could get someone's opinion...maybe this whole thing 'has' been me..maybe I was too picky with all of this since I was getting only I1 stones and I/J color anyways and should of just left well enough alone...I've been reading the board for about 3 weeks now..I really enjoy reading some of the things written here..

Well the couch will make drag and will lose some speed but will put some race fuel in it and make it go faster....
